"This company is a joke"

This company is a joke. We were provided this so called warranty program when we bought our home. Three weeks after purchase the refrigerator thermostat went out. Because the refrigerator is older is doesn’t have a motherboard so they will not cover it. Apparently thermostat is not covered in their system. I’m sorry that the house came with an older fridge but that’s not my problem! Last I checked the thermostat is a major component of a refrigerator! We got the runaround and were told no they won’t fix it and then yes they will. Once we were told no again I gave up. I have been without a refrigerator for 5 days and lost a refrigerator full of food all because of a loophole they are using! This company is a joke! I would never recommend them and will make sure ever realtor and homeowner I can get ahold of know about my experience with them!



UPDATE! This company posted a response saying they "resolved this matter is my favor". Yeah they'll replace my fridge as long as I buy a new one first. Not only did they approve me a ridiculously low amount to replace it, they refuse to release ANY money until I purchase a new fridge. This included paying the repair company that came out and determined the fridge wasn't able to be repaired. This company is total crap. I will be going to the Attorney General about this. NO WHERE IN MY CONTRACT DOES IT SAY THAT I HAVE TO PURCHASE A NEW FRIDGE IN ORDER TO BE COMPENSATED. I don't have the money to buy one and am using one from a local food pantry. Like I said the Attorney General will be getting involved.

"Absolute cheats"

HORRIBLE! In two years of having this warranty, they didn't pay any claims. They will "fine print" you out of paying anything, not to mention having to call them with the contractor on the phone and the "deductible". They go out of their way to make it difficult for you to get what you need, which of course works to their advantage. Lastly, I would add that they tried to scam us out of 1 year of coverage (may as well have!) by putting the wrong date on the contract. Don't bother, you'll end up paying for everything yourself anyway

"Total waste of time and money"

Echoing the other reviewers prior to me. This company is a total scam and stay away from them. They pay absolutely nothing.

I filed a claim on refrigerator and they took multiple follow-ups even to simply review the claim. After several efforts, they came back and said the parts and services are not covered. They even refused to pay the inspection fee to diagnose the issue.

Absolute scam and a total waste of money. I would stay away from this company like a plague.

"SCAM! Totally disappointed and let down by…"

Totally disappointed and let down by these guys. First claim we have ever made, our fridge leaked due to a broken seal and blocked drain plug. , and we have to now replace the whole floor, which our home insurance has fully covered - American Preferred though - "oh no sorry sir we only cover certain parts of your fridge and your parts are not covered - NOR is the service call we had to pay for to get a technician to look at it! - total disgrace - would not recommend them to anyone - and cancelled our own policy with immediate effect - might as well save the money and buy new when things go wrong - these guys are a SCAM!
