Good service. The office staff were keen to help and through their guidance ensured we covered all the bases with necessary paperwork. Installation went to plan with a politer and helpful engineer.

Such an acommodating company. I organised the install and paid for someone else's install for their new EV. The application forms are as expected, the more awkward aspect providing your home electrics are up to spec. They offered a sooner than expected install date and were even 20 minutes early. I'm saving their number to pass on to others. Thanks APi.

API Electrical have been a pleasure to work with. I had lost faith in the whole industry due to an awful experience with a different supplier (see my other reviews) but API lived up to their reputation and exceeded my expectations. From initial contact with Alysha, through installation by Jordan and invoicing by Jill, the whole experience was wonderful and I recommend API to anyone considering buying a home EV charger.

Great Service throughout the whole process. I would highlight recommend API Electrical to anyone wishing to have a car Charger installed.

"Don't let APi ruin the manufacturers good name!"

Absolutely appalling experience, they put me off the MyEnergi brand, but MyEnergi picked up the pieces and made good the failures of the APi installer at their expense as all this was done in there name.

I even got an email from APi saying the installation was advised as compliant by MyEnergi - which wouldn't have been possible without a site visit!

I'd recommend MyEnergi 100000% but would advise to choose anyone but APi for the installation.

Negative Points:
Extremely poor communication

Unit sneakily exchanged from tethered to untethered when I asked for a discount to account for the pre-run cable and plinth installation which resulted in less than 60 minutes labour for £200

Failed to meet the 30 day statutory time-frame to submit the installation certificate to me or the DNO

Unit was not installed correctly, not earthed properly and wouldn't work on a Renault Zoe

When the installer eventually returned to rectify, the installation was still not brought up to standard, instead a bodge job of only repairing one side of the installation, not even looking inside the consumer unit.

The charger manufacturer had to step in to make good there failures!

"Stress free install of Hypervolt EV charge point"

API installed an EV charge point at my home. The whole process is relatively straightforward. They provide webforms to upload the various information they need and make it clear what you need to do.
On the day of the install the electrician called me to say when they would arrive. Once at my home he gave me advice on the charge point and we agreed the exact placement. The install was inobtrusive, I was working from home so I was given warning of when the power would need to be off. After the install, he took me through the process of adopting the charger in the app and initial set up as well as the changes he has made to my distribution board.
Invoice and paperwork came through within a few hours of the completion of the work.
Overall, I'm pleased with the service I got from API.

"Great experience with Api"

Hard to fault our experience with Api, all questions were fully answered, good choice of chargers to suit all needs/budgets. The installation work was carried out very efficiently and was neat and tidy. The guy explained in detail how it worked and what to do if we had any issues, he also took time to make sure the charger was working on our wifi network and showed me how to use the app.
In fairness, the car has not been delivered yet so no chance to try it out but I am sure everything will work without any problems.
Would absolutely recommend Api without hesitation.

Neat and tidy installation. Easy to work with this company - after the initial contact, an engineer called to talk through my requirements and when I was ready to agree, the process was simple - just a few photos and agreement on the dates for the installation. On the day, the engineer walked me through the process and the installation as he went through it.
