By far the most professional and helpful charge-point installation company I spoke to.

Very helpful, understood my requirements, recommended a suitable product and installed it quickly because my car was due to arrive soon after I contacted them.

Lost one star because the installer didn't tidy up packaging etc. after himself and it was in various different places around my driveway, but that would not stop me recommending them.

Having looked at a variety of reviews prior to choosing a company to fit our EV charger, I decided to go with API electrical. From start to finish, dealing with this company was a pleasure. Professional impartial advice was given regarding choice of charger, the OLEV government grant was all sorted by API as was the fuse upgrade by our energy supplier. Overall I’m completely satisfied with the service and would highly recommend this company if you are considering having an EV charger fitted.

"Wallbox EV charger installation"

Installation man was caught in traffic but let me know he was going to be late. Quick, tidy install of my Wallbox charger. Also new consumer unit in garage. Gave me instructions on using the app before he left.
Cleaned up afterwards and all done efficiently. Very pleased.

"Zappi EV charger install"

We received a very competitive quotation for our Zappi EV charger install, and the installation of a larger capacity Consumer Unit.
The installation was offered for the date that I had asked for, and all went to plan. The electrician who called, was fully prepared for the work. Job was an all day job, taking him into extra hours - but he made sure all was working correctly, before leaving.
The Zappi works fine, but is giving some unexpected readings of Solar generated power and Consumed power. This might be due to our battery storage (DC batteries) - so we have made enquiries with Myenergi about this.
I can thoroughly recomend API to install EV charging points, that is their area of expertise. Iain set up the Zappi for us before leaving with all the right settings.
I would recomend them to others.

"Great job from quotation through to…"

Great job from quotation through to installation and billing, very efficient! From quote to install in less than 2 weeks! I went for the Ohme charger although haven’t had chance to use it as waiting for my EV to be delivered! Lee texted to say he would be arriving earlier than scheduled and would that be ok, replied that was fine. He arrived and did a great “COVID” compliant installation, very neat and tidy. He also explained how to set everything up on the App. All in all an excellent job and an excellent price, very pleased. Highly recommend API.

Like most reviewers I was very happy with the service provided by API. The process undertaken to ensure we could have a charger installed, involving the uploading of several photos, was thorough and gave confidence in the company's concern for safety. The company's presentation on emails is also very friendly. On the day, Ian arrived early, with warning, and did an excellent job, discussing the options for placing the charger, doing the installation neatly and checking it was charging properly. He even offered to help me tidy up my garage! Highly recommended.

Filling out the online form to book my charger installation (incl Olev grant) was relatively straight forward with an easy to use interface. Had a phone conversation too to discuss my requirements in a bit more detail. The engineer did a good neat and tidy job. The invoice landed a few days after installation and I was able to pay with Apple pay. Cant fault any aspect.

Excellent service from start to finish even though I had a small installation window due to an early delivery of my car. API said they'd get it done and they did. The installation of my Ohme charger was clean and very professional and I'm as happy as Larry. The price was excellent as well.
