"Absolutely disgusting"

Absolutely disgusting. Bought a home security system for $800. Camera units were not charging up before installation. Hubby took it back. They wanted to have the tech guy examine it, and was adamant that we were not entitled to our money back or a replacement. Hubby stood his ground in a packed shop, and eventually got a replacement. Well see if this works. Hubby even mentioned consumer guarantees act and they ignored it saying they were in the right. I will never purchase from them again!

"Uninterested in fixing Issue"

Purchased an oven but turned out it was damaged. The issue I have with Harvey Norman is that once they have your money, they show so little interest in getting the issue fixed. Specifically, they don't fulfill their obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act which requires resolution (replace, repair or refund) and in a reasonable time period. So far nothing...

"BEWARE SHOPPERS!!!"

Went to Harvey Norman after being scammed. Paid $279.99 for the technician to run a full scan and set up an antivirus software. The Antivirus software stopped me receiving some text messages from work colleagues! Rang Shardul Sheyte (The computer technician). No joy there. Very nonchalant attitude towards the situation. Told to come back. The Antivirus software was removed (had it for 14 days). What do you know! All the missing messages come through!!!!

i brought a 32 inch android tv from this place compulsive liars anything for a sale ,once item out door thats it . I told them , i live in caravan and want tv for satellite tv . They said this well work fine first lie ,then as i payed cash they said , if you pay 68 dollar s .for 5 years cover ,any issue setting it up well send out technician to sort it .second lie went in two day s ago sorry you have to sort that out yourself ,they told me bring it in tomorrow ,so today i took it in but did nt on purpose take remote ,got to store they took me down back to big tv s i asked one do all these tv s run on satellite dish ,reply no wifi . They plugged aerial cord from display tv into one i took in then i said forgot remote , took 10 min s came back ,flick at speed , i asked so that cable is hooked to satellite dish is it ,yes sir ,well you said wifi before then quickly gave me tv ,have good day sir n left over 400 dollar theft . If you ask them do i need a satellite reciever , ya should nt . Its a yes or no question . Dispute s tribuneral after seeing person at smith city .avoid Harvey Norman

"Pleased with delivery "

I had purchased a frezzer at Harvey Norman in Te Rapa 30/8 was delivered on Saturday 31/8. Was suppose to be dropped off in the morning but the drivers had a very busy morning. The delivery drivers were in constant contact and letting us know where they were. They were apologizing for the lateness and i think they were panicking a lil bit as by the time they dropped my frezzer it was after 1PM. I wasnt too worried as you can't expect things to be done asap. Extremely grateful that both men brought in my frezzer and set it up and leveled it for me plus took away all the packaging and the old frezzer. Friendly top notch fullas am looking forward to get my next purchase from Harvey Norman. Two big thumbs up to the delivery guys.
