Brought a Sunbeam drip coffee machine online. First off, they sent a tracking number that didn't work, and then the coffee machine arrived upside down, in the box. Usually most companies send items in a package box with bubble wrap. Anyway the glass jug was broken due to poor packaging. I contacted them through email, and I did get a quick response quickly but because of their weird system, its up to the branch who sent the item to handle refunds and replacements. I sent so many emails and was told the Hamilton branch would contact me back, they never did! I don't live in Hamilton, its a 30 minute drive. Will never buy from them again.

"Rao and Tré from the Timaru Store…"
Rao and Tré from the Timaru store helped me with the purchase of my new Iphone 15 Pro. They were extremely helpful and I feel both went over and above to sort everything out, transferring information perfectly, ensuring I had the right accessories to fitting the screen protector (not a bubble in sight lol and perfectly aligned!) Fabulous couple of guys and I think as employers you are very fortunate to have them.
Rao has also previously installed and configured an Orbi Wifi Router System in our house and was absolutely fabulous to deal with, extremely knowledgeable and polite. It was a pleasure to have him carry out the work.
All in all the service was everything and more. A great place to shop and know you are getting the best advice and service. THANKYOU!

I'm writing in regards to the health risk that your company put myself and family at risk of today.
After having poor service with a repair that was suppose to have been completed within 2week to be informed that it would most likely to be another 2week - after I've had to phone to chase up what was happening, and then asking for a loan coffee machine as my husband wasn't even offered one , I picked up this loan machine , full of mold!!! And moldy beans
A milk flother with soured milk in it. (If only I could describe the smell)
And at least a hour of cleaning it which I should attach my hourly rate plus penal rates for a Saturday and petrol costs for picking it up for the pleasure that it did to my nostrils and eyes and bio hazard to my kitchen.
After spending at least over 30k
Over a period of time through Harvey Norman I'm going to be reconsidering any future purchases going forward.
I would love to hear how you are going to rectify my loss of time and a Saturday afternoon.
Coffee machine was the top of the line De'Longhi that was being repaired worth over 1k
& If I could attach photos to this review of the mold infested loan machine I would.
Update as of 21-7-24
I was contacted and a new machine was issued and replaced our broken machine and personally dropped off which was greatly appreciated

"Praises for Patrick The Bedding Specialist at Hastings Harvey Norman "
Patrick, The Bedding Specialist at Hastings Harvey Norman has restored my faith in Customer Service with his 'can do' attitude.
I was desperate in getting 2 x Red Car Beds for my kids whose birthdays are 3 weeks away.
Living in Hamilton where no stock was available posed a problem as Hastings store had 2 in stock but the Hamilton Specialist explained that 3 to 4 weeks is the delivery timeframe.
Feeling despondent, I called Hastings Harvey Norman for help as they had 2 in stock and nothing was available elsewhere. The call was directed to Patrick Moniz, a Bedding Specialist who would check on a possible transfer to Hamilton in a shorter timeframe as the surprise beds were needed in 2 weeks!
Patrick promised to try for sooner and prepared the beds for postage and tracked my purchase throughout its journey to Hamilton.
The beds arrived a week later, 2 weeks prior to expectation!
We as a family are so pleased with Patrick's efforts and wish that he gets some recognition for his amazing Customer Service!
Thanks Patrick for making this special gift to my boys your priority, you're a Super Star!
Please know that we will definitely thank you personally someday when doing a road trip from Hamilton to Hastings.

I have purchased many things from Harvey Norman from furniture to computers to iPads etc the last time I went and unfortunately will never go back was the absolute worst experience ever, my husband was undergoing cancer treatment we were wearing masks we went in to purchase an Everdure outdoor kitchen we were standing there for over 15 minutes while the staff were standing around talking to each other and laughing looking in our direction and not one person came to see if we needed help we left after waiting for 20 minutes and purchased a similar outdoor kitchen elsewhere I called the store when we left and told the gentleman that answered the phone we wanted to purchase the Everdure outdoor kitchen he literally begged us to go back unfortunately for them they missed out on a big sale

Got he Heston bar b Que $1100.00. 1 month in after cleaning with spray and wipe the indication for the burner dials wiped off. Not painted on or etched in but appears to be applied by marker. Another month in and the paint is wiping off due to the heat really poorly made. Harvey Norman not interested in warranty as they said we should only have used baking soda to clean. can’t understand this as this is abrasive. Completely unsatisfactory result. Bad product even worse service Palmerston North

Many health features of the Galaxy Watch 6 don't work if you don't have a Samsung phone.
Staff never volunteer information to make sure you have got the right product, what a waste of several hundred dollars.

I have been more than impressed by the service given by two staff members at Harvey Norman Mt Wellington.
Firstly, I would like to praise Alex - from the Kitchen appliances department - who helped me choose the right fridge with so much professionalism, knowledge, patience, and kindness. He went the extra mile to accommodate my needs and organise everything in a timely manner. I have been really impressed by Alex.
I would also like to praise Michael - from the Music/TV/Stereo Department - who was also extremely professional and helpful. Knows his product, is able to give wise advice, and obviously loves his job.
I would highly recommend them both. Harvey Norman does not only sell quality products, but also have top sales people.

"Refund "
I bought a tripod and decided not to use it and returned it to the shop. I was told that there was only two people at the store who could complete the return and neither was in the shop so I had to go back. When I returned they couldn't complete the transaction so I had to email them with my full bank details, when I enquired why it hadn't been completed after two days I was told there was no managers in store that day, so I've given them two more days and still no refund has been made. Really poor service for a company of that size
