So this customer support guy named Davis was such an amazing help to literally saved my life and bank.From helping me modify my flight instead of canceling it and helped me find a super cheap flight from 1100 to only 334$ literally saved my life.Superb customer support this guy deserves a raise.

"Bait and Switch..."

I booked a flight specific to my travel date and times. Without consulting me you booked a completely different time that was 5 hours earlier and not even a remote possibility. I had to call multiple times because no one ever called me back. I was told it would be a 3 minutes on hold and it was more like 15 just to get back the original flight I confirmed. Then I went on to the airline site once it was fixed only to learn that the trip was booked as a round trip ticket and not a one way ticket. I have no idea how to even fix this.

"Avoid CheapFlightsFares: Book Directly with Airlines for Better Service"

I purchased a plane ticket to Ft. Lauderdale through CheapFlightsFares for $103. After booking, I discovered additional charges for a carry-on bag and seat selection. When I called to add these, I was informed it would cost an extra $150. I requested a refund via email but was denied since it was 2 days after booking, not within the 24-hour window. Upon calling again, I was offered a seat selection for $63. If I were to book a flight now, and add carry-on baggage it would cost $22 USD on Porter. Despite the representative's efforts, I strongly advise booking directly with the airline you wish to fly. You'll likely get a comparable price and have an easier time managing your booking. Consider using Priceline or Expedia before resorting to this company.

"Nine hours after purchasing tickets and…"

Nine hours after purchasing tickets and after my husband and I discussed logistics/costs of our trip, I decided to cancel the tickets we had purchased nine hours earlier, knowing that the website said cancellations were penalty free within 24 hours. First, I spoke with the online assistant, who said our checked luggage fee wouldn't be refunded. Which I had never heard of, nor was informed of when purchasing. Next, I called the number, and the representative told me that my flight could only be refunded as a credit because it was a special discount. The website doesn't specify that, nor was I given this information when I purchased. The representative was dismissive and only repeated the same information about my particular discount not being a part of the refund plan, as opposed to providing the customer service I was hoping for. The website's claims are also misleading--as they claim that you can cancel within 24 hours with no penalty. Unfortunately, I'm now stuck with a flight that may end up costing much more than anticipated, rather than being a "special discount."

"Book Direct Instead"

The business model seems to be based on a "bait and switch". I booked flights on the site, in good faith for a good deal. within 24 hours, I was told "sorry those flights aren't available anymore, the flights we can get you are more expensive" and I was on the hook for another $500... I came very close to using the 24 hr cancellation, and booking elsewhere. I've still found flights since, same time, dates and locations for cheaper than I ended up paying.

On top of that my tickets had issues. I was missing one eTicket/Confirmation when all was said and done, and I had to call the airline myself to sort it out. After the bait-and-switch I was worried it was a deliberate mistake in order to get me to pay more.

Though resolved, and the customer service individuals I talked to were polite, I had to call 4 times on the same day.

I will not use CheapFlightsFares again.

Customer Service Representative Nicholas did an excellent job. He went above and beyond to make sure all my needs were taken care of to my satisfaction. I have two deaths in my family so we have two funerals this coming week and he did everything that he could to help me to get my granddaughter here. Thank you much

"It’s a scam don’t book with them"

It’s a scam don’t book with them. One of those companies that pretends to offer cheaper flights then calls pretending there’s a problem with the airline but they can offer you a different ticket - always more expensive or lower class. Then they want to take weeks to give you back your money BE WARNED FOND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO BOOK YOUR FLIGHTS
