"They Withhold Cashback for Large Orders"

This is in follow up to my previous review. I contacted customer service just as their response requested. I went through the whole process again and was told to wait another 2-8 weeks for cashback. I responded that I had already waited my 2-8 weeks and gave them a detailed timeline of the correspondence. They suddenly respond back now I didn't place my order correctly, which is false. I have been a member for several years and know how to place orders correctly. See the two orders in question were large orders that I specifically made sure that I placed correctly. They seem to have been able to award cashback for the smaller dollar orders before and after those orders. It seems to be a recurring theme that I see with other customer reviews that they try to withhold your cashback for large orders. Because of these problems with Temu orders, I just tested out Rakuten and within 30 minutes my purchase was registered automatically without having to send in receipts. So something doesn't smell right with ShopSmarter. They still get paid by the retailer whether they pay you or not. Each time you place an order using ShopSmarter link, you enrichen them while they also keep your cashback. I am not sure that I am going to continue with this service, as I have lost complete trust in them.

"Getting cashback is exhausting and time consuming for a paid service"

Getting cashback is exhausting and takes hours and hours of time submitting receipts over and over. It might not be so bad if it wasn't a paid service. They have gotten better with the Walmart orders awarding cashback within a couple of days, but Temu orders are still the worst. Every order requires submission of the Temu receipts at least 1 or more times. I have outstanding cashback owed as far back as 6 months.

I wanna love shopsmarter and give it 5 stars yet I find I can’t always trust that my shopping through them will grant me $$$ back. Wish they were more transparent about what went through and what didn’t go through.
