Woodpecker Flooring

"Flooring is completely terrible!!"
Purchased the flooring through Wren kitchens and had it professionally laid throughout my entire house downstairs. In all honesty the flooring is of very poor quality and with in a matter of a few months it has started to lift and bow.
I see this is a common problem looking at others reviews.
Bottom line is I would never buy it again and certainly wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

"A quality finish. "
The quality and appearance of our herringbone floor is stunning and greatly admired. Woodpecker's attention to detail is brilliant, right down to matching edging strips at the doors and round the matting. A first class job.

"Woodpecker solid oak 18mm flooring was…"
Woodpecker solid oak 18mm flooring was purchased and on starting to lay the floor it was apparent that there was differences of between 2 and 5mm in board widths even from the same box. This is a fundamental flaw in a product if you are wanting a nice tight and uniform floor. There has been a severe lack of consistency in the machining of these boards. NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!!

"Cost to re-lay flooring"
I purchased Woodpecker Herringbone 5mm flooring and had it expertly fitted throughout the entire downstairs area of a brand new property. Within months of it being fitted it started to lift and chip which is absolutely appalling considering the product is supposed to have a 25 year guarantee. Woodpecker themselves have sent out a member of their team to inspect the floor and have agreed to replace the product but I am now left with the cost of paying to have the floor refitted through no fault of my own. I am a 72 year old single lady and do not know where to turn now. I cannot afford to pay again to have an entire downstairs floor re-fitted. This should never have happened, this sub standard product should not have been sold to unwitting customers who purchased in good faith.
Woodpecker flooring are shameful for leaving people to pick up the cost of refitting because their product is faulty.

"Poor quality flooring and service"
I've had an unfortunate experience similar to some posted below. Our flooring started to flake and break up after a few months and became hazardous to walk on. The quality is just not good enough.
We have tried to arrange for Woodpecker to come out and replace but we are still waiting for a call back despite chasing for weeks and weeks.
I would not recommend.

"Easy to order delivered in a couple of…"
Easy to order delivered in a couple of days no damage to the corners of any packs I fitted this on my own would be a lot easier and quicker with 2 people but the slats lock together really neat and tidy and unlike some the edges are robust and difficult to break far from the cheapest around but the quality is excellent and no underlay reqd we used lynton sea grass engineered light oak and it looks beautiful
