"Friendly and very helpful "

Northern Energy couldn't have been more helpful when I needed to change Gas suppliers. I would highly recommend the Company and I am very pleased with their prompt and friendly service.

Northern Energy are AMAZING. Fantastic team who answer the, answer questions and just generally are really helpful and nice to speak to, which is totally wonderful after my experience with my old supplier!!

Been with this company for many years. Never had a problem . Whenever I contact them regarding an upcoming delivery the staff are pleasant and helpful. Would happily recommend them to anyone.

"So far, excellent service"

Bulk LPG customer. Left Avantigas last year after 2 years of appalling service, tank down to fumes on more than one occasion, Customer Service regularly being economical with the truth. In contrast, Northern Energy have been excellent. Switch supplier done smoothly. Tank filled with no problems and punctually, also good price.

"Very disappointed with the customer…"

Very disappointed with the customer service today. My mum has been a customer for many yrs, elderley,partially sighted so I have always dealt with the oil orders (originally Kettlewells) i ordered 800litres of domestic oil on 29th Jan, money debited from the bank account and I then had a text on Thurz 1st Feb confirming the delivery would be Fri 2nd Feb. The delivery never arrived and my mum was becomming distressed that she might run out of oil. I rang customer services and was shocked to be told that there was no oil left in the tanker as the previous customers had asked for their tanks to be topped up to more than they had ordered. On questioning this business model I was told thats how we run our business. Fair enough if spare oil can be used to top up others but when u have ordered, paid and been given a delivery date we feel this is extremely poor customer service. I said my mum should be on record as vulnerable and would they ring me back so I could calm my mother. No return phone call and a text message late afternoon saying the oil will be delivered tomorrow Tues 6th Feb.....well let's hope the driver doesnt decide to top up customers on route to my mums! No more orders from us,complete customer service shambles!

"Wonderful reasonably sized, but family run company that takes a practical approach to doing business."

I’d been struggling with getting in contact with my previous supplier (Avanti) simply to sort out a new contract and get a fair price for a top-up (I was out of contract). So, I looked here on TrustPilot and saw Northern Energy is getting great reviews and rang them.

Short story even shorter, I got through immediately, was given a quote at a market-leading price, and was sent the forms to complete electronically the same day —which I did.

I had a question about the site of my underground LPG tank which was also immediately sorted (the same day) once I had uploaded the usual set of photos for moving supplier.

Wonderful reasonably sized, but family run company that takes a practical approach to doing business.

"EXPENSIVE!"

The pros - they are helpful and quick to deliver but you WILL pay for this
The cons - they are WAY more expensive than other suppliers.
Had been with them for past 6 years and was always convinced I was paying over the odds. Was supposedly on a plan which ensured I paid the same price per litre regardless of quantity or so I had been told. Recently had a top up of 380 litres and paid 97 p per litre when going rate was about 75 ppl. When I asked why it was so expensive was referred to someone who said it was down to the quantity I had received. This was the last straw. No more being ripped off for me! I’ll shop around from now on!

"Had a problem with the regulator on the…"

Had a problem with the regulator on the tank, spoke to emergency number on a Sunday and the regulator replaced Monday!
Excellent service always and staff always efficient and polite.
Can't fault them!

"I moved to Northern Energy after 18…"

I moved to Northern Energy after 18 years with Calor. As well as being more competitively priced, the communication and customer service has been excellent. I wish I’d not been complacent and moved earlier.
