"teksavvy used to have advantage of…"
teksavvy used to have advantage of offering low speed internet at a low charge. But now the other companies offer cheaper price for high speed internet, teksavvy seems ridiculous to offer low speed internet at a high price. Once you start the plan, they made it hard to switch to a cheaper one if they have a promotion. I stayed with with them for a few years and now I'm leaving.

"Extremely frustrating to deal with…"
Extremely frustrating to deal with teksavvy so far. Moved to a new home and had set up an internet connection date with over a months notice, only to be told it could take 4 more days to get the internet activated and they wouldn't even guarantee that. Their call center is easy to get ahold of and seem friendly enough, but ultimately can't deliver on anything they've said. I was told twice that because my service is piggypacking off of another provider (Rogers), teksavvy has to wait for Roger's to activate my connection and mistakenly nobody asked Roger's to activate it. I work from home so this has been a complete fail. If you're looking for reliable service, I'd look elsewhere.

"I’ve had a very frustrating experience…"
I’ve had a very frustrating experience with TekSavvy. While the people in the call center are always friendly and polite, the service regarding getting my internet set up has been horrible. I’ve been waiting 15 days for an internet connection, and the technician simply did not show up. I’ve called daily, and while the customer service representatives are nice, they are unable to provide any clear answers or updates on when the technician will come because it's handled by an external vendor.
This situation has been incredibly inconvenient, especially since I work from home and rely on a stable internet connection. Right now, I’m left using my phone’s data or spending an hour commuting to the office every day because I can’t work from home. It’s extremely frustrating, and I’m very disappointed in the lack of communication and resolution.

"Didn’t Work For Me"
Saw TechSavvy’s giant billboards everywhere in Winnipeg and thought I would give them a try after years of unhappy service from you know who. Definitely didn’t work for me. Waited the wntire day at home on two separate occasions for an installer to come. No installer or even a call, on either day. Spent countless hours on phone & chat as well, all a complete waste of my time. Took another month ish to get a refund, including more calls & chat. All in all a big waste of time. And I thought Sh*w was bad lol. Not sure what’s wrong with this outfit as they look professional but they were far from that in my experience. Good luck if you try em!

"Awful, don't do it."
Just signed up with Tech Savvy last month. Awful. Internet has been down 7 days of 30. Call centre people are nice, but takes days to get a technician out. Had one come out, fixed a filter, internet down again the next day. Called again, had to wait 2 days, internet started working so service call was cancelled and ticket closed. Internet stopped working after a few hours, now have to wait another 2 days. Very very painful. I don't even need great internet, just need it to work for browsing.
Sadly it feels like you have to pay and arm and a leg for internet in this country, you try and get a deal and this is what you end up with.
On the verge of cancelling again now, crawling back to Bell. At least their service worked 24/7/365. One more chance I guess.

"Beware people on a fixed income "
Good service but I'm on a fixed income I moved to a area that didn't have them so I had to cancel them. I am in a wheelchair on ODSP so no room to move on finances. Before 30 days they debited my account on the 1st for the modem. So I rushed and sent the modem back at first they said they had to check the modem then they said I would get a full refund for 3 days. On the 3rd day I called and they said the modem was damaged so no refund. They wouldn't give me proof just kept my money. So they are making it hard to eat this month

"I started service this company and had…"
I started service this company and had Many problems getting connected but once they got a technician to my house they were able to fix the problem. I work from home so I need internet service. This company suddenly cut my service on week day an then ask to me prepay for month before I could get my service reconnected. Knowing that I had no choice but to prepay because I needed to work. This company is not what it seems, when something is to good's to be true it usually is stick with regular providers don't put your self at risk. I put my job on the line and now I have to find new provider in the middle of my work week. Stay away for own good.

I like how I read these comments from teksavy saying sorry but yet it's still happening to the new customers. That is some B.S .
If you got the box do they give full refund if you cancel and still have no internet from them?
