"Netlive service questionable"
In 2019 I signed up with them. (NETLIVE) I was pushed into joining the flexiti credit card option, which I didnt want. The $200 bonus for going with flexiti was something I could've used at the time but I never recieved it. A whole year later they checked the records and found I'd never recieved it. So it was sent Dec 2020.
The service was good when I signed up, the tech's on the phone always had an answer but it started getting worse as they grew bigger. I had endless problems with my internet being cut off, or too slow, faulty modem, and trying to get someone to come check the lines was near impossible.
We hobbled along with unreliable internet for almost years and thankfully have moved from that place to where we now have decent internet that never cuts out. Cancelation was a nightmare, it took about a month for me to get the final payment amount out of them . Emailing every week and getting lame excuses and promises that they'd have it by the end of the day. Meanwhile I'm still stuck paying one more month to Flexiti because this was not cancelled at the time I asked for it. So glad to done with that. And the modems are junk, two different technicians via the helpline told me this.my first one stopped working, got sent another, then that one stopped so I tried the first one and it magically worked again.
Wont be going that route again, internet resellers are not reliable and getting help is frustrating.

"Reasonably flexible and generally innocuous."
The reason I went with this company is that they have more flexibility on plans than their competitors. I wanted unlimited internet so I wouldn't get hit with overages, but I didn't need 8 people to be able to stream ultra HD video at once from my house. At the time I signed up, these guys were the only ones with a plan that fit my budget and priorities.
I've been getting Internet from them for a few years now (5-ish?). They're alright. Outages are rare. Speed is decent. Customer service is alright. Tech support is alright. They don't call me to try to upsell me on more services. Mostly, I don't think about my ISP, and that's a good thing, right?

"TEK-SCAMMER"
I have been a TekSavvy customers for 8 years. I had a problem with poor or no service. Kept getting runaround as to what the problem was. Teksavvy blamed Cogeco for line issues, and Cogeco blamed Teksavvy for the issue. After months of the same issues, decided to go with another internet supplier. Returned supplied equipment to Teksavvy and thought all was done. 2 months later Teksavvy sent me a bill for over $100 for unreturned equipment, I called and gave them tracking # from shipment to show returned equipment. An error was made and month later another bill for just under a $100. Called teksavvy again and they stated that the power supply was not returned with the modem so that was the cost of the missing power supply!!! $100 for a power supply??? Then they stated another error and the power supply was now only $16.95. I again stated about the returned shipping # which included the weight of the shipped package. (power supply is much heavier then the modem. But again they state that it was missing!!! This is after they had originally told me I never returned any thing. Now threating me with collection agency!!! They have spent more in postage about their bogus claims about missing power supply then what they are trying to rip me off for.

"Totally incompetent, 8 hours WASTED in life/death situation"
I had a life or death situation where I needed to travel from Quebec to Ontario as soon as possible, but I couldn't be without internet for more than a few days because that's all I could get off from work. A member of my family was having health issues and I had to relocate ASAP so I could stay with her to try to stop her from killing herself. The plan was that I was going to leave as soon as I confirmed that the modem arrived; then I would be off work for a day for travel, and a few more days until the internet connection kicked in. I told Teksavvy staff the urgency of what I was dealing with.
I must have spent 3 hours on the phone with their reps, just trying to figure out how to get the service set up because no one knew ANYTHING. Every time I talked to someone, they told me something different (“Sure, this modem will work for that address”, “We don’t know which modem will work, try paying for both!” “We have no idea how long it will take to ship” etc.)
I paid extra for UPS shipping to get it faster; it was supposed to show up on Monday. I got an email saying that delivery was rescheduled to Tuesday. Then on Tuesday I got an email saying it was rescheduled for Wednesday. This continued until Thursday, when I got an email that said that it was delivered - but it wasn't.
Then I realized that they sent the modem to my BILLING address instead of the shipping address. I wasn’t at my billing address. I couldn’t wait another 3+ days for them to ship it again. So I had to sit in traffic for 3 hours, and then 2 hours back, and pay for gas, just to pick up this modem. Which put my urgent trip behind by ANOTHER day. But there was no way I could gamble with getting them to reship to Ontario – who knows how long that would have taken?
It didn’t matter. She went and poisoned herself.

"Horrible customer service and tech…"
Horrible customer service and tech support . They screwed my internet for 2 week and the Supervisor "Richard" didn't even care. They are not the slighted bit interested in the customer's experience. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

"great service company"
we have had this company for wifi services for the past 5 years and we have no complaints. their (tech or customer service/accounting) staff are friendly and helpful. we get Rogers services and they aren't always reliable but that's not Teksavvy's fault.
over the summer we needed 5months services elsewhere and signing up, setting up, and cancellation, it all worked just fine.

"Trouble with cancellation"
Call them on 21 of December to cancel my account for the 4th of January. Today is the 6th and still no disconnect happening. They tell me COGECO responsible and they do final disconnect. Called COGECO and they tell me that Teksavvy has go it wrong. COGECO is not involved in any physical disconnect on my account. May have to go CCTS.

"Amazing Teksavvy service"
Whenever I call into Teksavvy I am met with the most courteous customer service agents who I feel genuinely care about me, whether I am adding or removing services or want some help using these services. I wholeheartedly feel that they are trying to to do good and keep prices low and reliable for Canadians, but they are truely getting run over big big telecoms. After many years, I cancelled my internet because I got an offer that was too good with Shaw, albeit only for two years. There was no judgment or no attempt to win me back. The agent was so kind and the process was so simple. I hope to be back.

"Always good service and great prices"
Always good service and great prices. They're actively trying to make the telecom industry equitable in Canada which is a major reason why I use them.
