I have ordered a badminton racket on the website (order number BHQ49580). Badmintonhq staff, Tony, left a voice message that the price was wrong on the website and offered to sell me the racket at the same price but unstrung. I was on a trip and I was unable to answer the call. 3 hours later, they proceeded with the refund. Once I received the voice message, I tried to call them many times and left voice mail. I emailed them and they didn't respond and they didn't reply my call. Their phone line was so busy that I couldn't reach them until a few days later. When I reached them, a staff (I didn't feel comfortable with his attitude. It wasn't my fault to make a purchase with them. If their website was in trouble, I'm always happy to resolve the problem with them) told me that the offer was only valid on that day but Tony's voice message didn't say that at all and I had no chance to accept/decline the offer. Although their T&C's allow them to make a refund if an error occurs, there should be communication and agreement made before they proceed with a refund (extracted from badmintonhq's T&C's ... errors do occur. If this does happen, we’ll contact you with the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling your order if you don’t wish to pay the difference.) Did I ever have a chance to accept/decline the offer before the refund was proceeded. No. Would they respond to my complaint? Sure they won't. They acted against their own T&C's.
Very disappointing. Poor customer experience and brand protection.

I don't write reviews, it's just not something I ever feel compelled to do but thought I had to share my experience of this company. I've ordered several times with them but for my last order, I paid extra for next day delivery. The other option was standard, which would've arrived on the Tuesday. Long story short, my next day order arrived 3 days after order placed. No big deal really but when I raised it with the company, a delightful (not) chap by the name of Matt, essentially called me a liar and told me to take my custom elsewhere as they weren't bothered. Avoid at all costs.

I purchased an expensive Karakal badminton racket and it came with a flimsy cloth sack and not a badminton cover offering protection, as one would expect for this price. BadmintonHQ were more concerned in being perceived as “right”, which was upsetting, than customer care. Their website says “racket cover included” and it should say cloth sack, as it would have been clearer, as “racket cover” indicates a proper cover.

Excellent selection of badminton racquets. Delivery was actually a day before we expected it, which wasn't a problem for us. We would definitely use badmintonhq.co.uk again, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Ordered some badminton shoes - slight defect in them. Customer service polite, friendly and professional - Nick was a star ;-) - customer service is important to this grumpy 56 year old man and they delivered - well done (appreciate customers can be difficult)
