"Awful"
I was with Intouch for 5+ years, had really good service from them for about 4 of those, then over the last year, it all went horribly wrong. They switched to some new software, the changeover causing chaos beyond description, my personal accountant became harder to get hold of and then quit unexpectedly, I believe along with many others, leaving me without a personal accountant. From there it increasingly became impossible to contact anyone at all via phone or email. Phone calls always left with a "we'll get back to you" and no-one ever did, and emails simply ignored. I eventually had enough and switched to new accountants, but my year end accounts were still due to be completed by Intouch.
Well the deadline for year end accounts has come and gone, and despite me chasing them consistently for months and assurances from them that they would be completed in time, they were NOT completed and I was forced to file myself to avoid penalties.
I can't overstate the amount of stress and bother this company has caused me over the last year. Truly despicable way to treat clients who are relying on you to deliver on legally obligated accounting requirements.
Avoid like the plague.

"Intouch's Incompetence Will Cost Me Penalties – A Frustrating Experience"
The year-end accounts are due in just a couple of days, and I still don’t have a proper draft to approve. At this rate, I’ll likely miss the deadline and incur penalties because Intouch has been unable to provide a correct draft for weeks.
The main issue stems from their inability to properly handle currency conversions, as I receive payments in euros. They’ve made repeated errors throughout the year, forcing me to closely monitor my accounts. Their financial tracking is so opaque that this has been an ongoing challenge. I had hoped they had finally resolved their handling of euros, only to receive the first YE draft—just two weeks ago—incorrectly counting my euro income as pounds, inflating my revenue by around 20%.
Since then, getting things corrected has been an uphill battle. Given my experience, I can only advise anyone to steer clear of this company.

"Excellent customer service"
My tax affairs have become more complicated recently, with a long spell working self employed between the EU and the UK, capped off with a return to a PAYE role. On the UK side Gill Donnelly from Intouch was fantastic in guiding me through the process, coming up with a solution that kept my future options for self employment open. Gill is friendly, cheerful and extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommended.
