My wife and I wanted two trikes for stability, comfort and speed, and the Jorvik step-through E ticked all of our boxes. We had two test runs (blocked by Covid) before we purchased with delivery and assembly on time and easy. The fact that they fold and can be 'garaged' in our motorhome (via twin pet ramps) is an absolute bonus. In July we toured Holland and travelled many miles along the Dykes and visiting the locks, and in September did the west coast of France and simply enjoyed fleeting along for 5 kms daily just to get a coffee. With minor service items all the staff at Jorvik have been helpful and understanding. Our only issue is having to spend so much time allowing people to photograph them and provide explanations as to where we bought them etc. Well done Jorvik. Just love our Trikes.....

"Awsome Trike"

We are a day care centre for adults' with learning disabilities, so the trike gets used by a few individuals & they all love it. I had to order a few spares from Jorvik & all the staff were very helpful, especially Marta. the parts arrived basically next day, they are a reasonable price with realistic postage. Highly recommended, thank you, Guy

"Really supportive sales support"

My mum (86, who has Parkinsons and issues with her knees), and I went up to York to try out an electric tricycle. James, the owner of the business, whose father also has Parkinson’s - this a motivation for his starting the business - met us at their showroom in Yorvale Business Park, a short drive from the centre of York. He was really helpful and supportive, and invited us back the next day to try their indoor test track at their distribution centre a little further out at Millfield Industrial Estate. Again James was really supportive with my rather frail mother, who was nervous and unused to tricycles, and, with his help, she was really pleased to be riding solo after another hour of support. Thank you James!

"Scammers"

Scammers, liers!!!!
They send me a different looking basket on the tricycle than the pictures were showing and different mud guards and when I confronted them they edited the website with new pictures and lied to me saying they were always like that!
They promised to send me the mudguards and basket was previously showing in the pictures but is been neatly 2 years and still didn't received anything as they promised!!

"Bad after sales service"

Bad after sales service. No help with the problem so Trike unrideable. If I had known would not have bought Trike.

"Good trike, overpriced, bad customer support"

The trike is excellent, it just took some getting to. I certainly wouldn't recommend their trikes for any serious offroading as the ride height is so low that it gets beached on the motor, and it likes to fall over on cambered surfaces, but it's excellent for flat surfaces.

I'm not sure if it was worth £4,000, probably around half that. I should really have been smart and got a second hand car for this price.

Customer support definitely leaves something to be desired. I contacted Jorvik because one of the two batteries wouldn't hold a charge and was asked to send it to their warehouse for repair/replacement but no couriers will take it without sending the battery in the device and there's no way I can afford to send the entire trike back to York. I told Jorvik this and asked them to arrange a courier and have been ignored. Since I still have one functioning battery on the trike I'm still able to use it but at some point I'm going to have to get the faulty battery to a repair shop and send the £500 bill to Jorvik.

Update: Despite me posting this review two weeks ago I have not received any response, but Jorvik will respond to 5-star reviews after a matter of hours. Nice of them to acknowledge their screwups.

I purchased my trike 2 years this month I have to say it’s the best thing I have invested in it has opened a new wonderful experience to my life and have made many new friends as people see me about and stop to chat and are very interested in my unique trike I also have made a wonderful friend who also has a Jorvik trike we go out on are adventures every opportunity and just have the best of times and we are getting more adventurous and have many plans to go further afield Jorvik delivered straight to my door I have never had any cause to contact jorvik from the day of delivery as the trike is just a dream

Part and repair done at a reasonable cost
I can’t praise the trike enough,
So easy and fun to ride but also practical and ULES / parking charge free. Healthy too.
Will be better when they have lamprey local agents to service or fix things although to be fair I think my problem was caused by tackling terrain too rough even for JMT 9.

"Jorvik trike!Freedom for anyone."

Starting from purchasing the trike till actually getting the right one was somewhat tricky.As there was a mixup due to wrongly advertised trike I got the wrong one delivered.But then with a bit of backwards and forwards phonecalls,packing and lots of waiting I got my treasured item.And so far so good.Though I would say some things could be designed better just for the comfort reason.
Having said that I have gone from no confidence to loving the speed and wind in my face.I do go with it to places where probably in the past I would be scared to,but overall enjoyable experience.Still lots to learn.
