Havebike collected two of my bikes from work and despite the road being shut, they patiently waited and helped me to get my bike to the van! The communication throughout was excellent and the team clearly explained that some additional work needed to be done to one (old) bike. Without any hassle, they delivered both bikes to a different address, which made things much easier for me. The bikes came back very clean and in great working order. Havebike were extremely professional and easy to deal with throughout. I will definitely be using this service again and will recommend them to friends.

When I first started using havebike a few years ago I considered the standard of service excellent. Unfortunately, my last experience was the opposite.
I put two ex-racing bikes in for a service. The first went in for a super deluxe service. It was returned with, amongst other issues, the headset ridiculously overtightened and a gear cable misrouted. I sent it back, but a couple of rides after being returned again the bottom bracket started seizing up, so back it went once more. Quite simply put, either the mechanic did not know what he was doing, or the bike had not been stripped down and parts simply tightened.
The 2nd bike had been booked in for a deluxe service. Upon return, I was pleased to find the front derailleur repaired, but play in the headset had been missed. Most bizarre of all though, the bike had not been cleaned as per the advertised valet!!
Emails of complaint to the manager did not receive a reply. Phone calls asking to speak to the manager, were answered by what appeared to be a messaging service, with a response that the manager had just left/was busy and I would receive an urgent call back – no calls were received.
Six months later having just had a first-class bike service by a local cycle shop, and without any explanation or apology from havebike, I feel the 5-star reviews on this site need to be balanced. Yes, the collection/return process is very convenient, but totally negated by wasting time at home sending the bike back unnecessarily. Havebike may be good at servicing the MTBs of the police, LAS, etc, but I personally could not trust them again with a ‘racing steed’.

Great service - quick pick up with clear communication about when they are arriving. Mechanic called to explain work and did a very quick turnaround and an excellent job. Couple of months later they very happily checked my bike when I noticed a creak (Not their fault) and sorted for free in a day. Highly recommend.

"Great servicing on the bike"
Great servicing on the bike itself, collection/delivery was efficient and on time. Great to have this flexibility. The website and office processes could do with updating to enhance the customer experience. I found it difficult to get hold of people on the phone and had to leave messages with external receptionsist who coulnd't help with anything besides take down your details.
