"Excellent service and very polite."

I was apprehensive at first as no-one I knew had used them before, but I needn't have been. Excellent service by drivers and technician who called before changing any parts. However, there was a slight adjustment on front brakes and after an email, the bike was picked up the next day and dropped off the same day, completely to my satisfaction. Definitely will use them again and fully recommend.

"Awful customer service.."

Awful customer service... I thought i'd take advantage of an of on the havebike website for a deluxe service; my bike was collected on the 8th Feb and was due to be returned on the 10th. A couple of days later on the 12th Feb, they tried to contact me because their was a structural issue with the bike and it had to be returned, which it was on the 15th. I would've been happy to sign a disclaimer for any repairs, but i understand they don't want to be liable.... The bike was returned and I was expecting a refund on that day but I received nothing, so later I sent an email asking about the refund, no reply. I called on the 15th as well, no one got back to me. I waited a week and called on the 22nd Feb, my number was noted but no one got back to me. I called on the 23rd Feb, the issue was again noted but no one there was able to help and I should expect a call back, no one returned my call. Called again, 1st March, no return call. I called on the 2nd March, now I was told my case had been noted as urgent and I should definitely expect a call back, no reply. Finally, when I called on the 8th March and was put through to someone willing to listen, I received a partial refund (a third of the price I paid) after no service to my bike and almost a month of trying to chase the company for a refund. Next time I'll use my local bike shop...

Great service and speedy resolution to a problem with bottom bracket that developed shortly after after a full bike service.

"Shocking Service."

I booked for a service and some work to attach components to a new bike.

Unfortunately the bike was build a broad and the components were not suitable so i was advised that the bike was not safe.

However i was still charged for the service.

Inwas also offered replacement tyres would would alleviate the problem. However i was offeres widely availability £20-£22 schwalbe tyres at £35.00

I had also arranged for the bike to be delivered to work however the drivers couldnt be bothered to drive into my offices complex once he arrived. I was told it was because i was unavailable. (i had already advised the driver of this and arranged for a colleague to recieve the bike!).

The bike was eventually delivered a day later. With a damaged saddle and 2 missing components.

I emailed asking for a refund. But instead of this the MD phoned me up not apologise but to quibble over my complaint. He told me i was not due a refund. I'm of the it was just to torment me.

So far havebike have agreed to replace the saddle and hage found the components.

The bottom line is that i gave havebike £70 for a service which they did not perform and then returned my bike damaged.
