"Avoid - very poor customer service"
Avoid! The order process seems easy, the £20 delivery to the UK seemed a little steep but was willing to pay it.
The item I received was damaged. I emailed them to basically be told “use the website to sort your issue”. The website sends you round in circles which no option to request a return or leave a review!
Will not be using again!

Very disappointed after paying VAT for my goods ordered online and then also import duty, (for a 363 pound order I have paid almost 120 in tax!!!), I have read that some people from the UK have received this online VAT refunded from Ekosports however after several emails I have heard nothing from them.

I was a bit apprehensive to say the least, as I live in the UK, however I wasn’t deterred by the negative reviews. Here is my honest review - the tracking service provider was in French, the delivery was quick with no issues,, I received my delivery with no issues, I’m very happy with my purchase and the time it had take, I will for sure buy form here again.

Ordered on 02.02.22, says it was shipped on 03.02.22, but the tracking number does not work so I think the package wasnt even picked up yet.
Written emails too, but ofc no response...

"Failure to refund VAT and impossible to contact"
bought skis and the website was clear that I would pay VAT on purchase, but if I had to pay it again in the UK then Ekosport would refund what I had paid to them.
The skis arrived quickly but did get held up with Parcelforce and I had to pay customs duty/VAT. I did this and they were delivered the next day so that worked well.
I then asked Ekosport for my refund of the VAT that I had paid to them, they were slow to respond and when they did they asked me to send proof that I had paid the VAT. I sent this on 31st January and haven't heard anything from then since despite several more emails. I am also trying their phoneline daily but every time I am on hold for a while before being told that they are busy and to try the website instead.
It seems unsustainable for Ekosport to continue selling into the UK unless they can be honest with customers and improve their communication.

"Misleading."
Misleading. They say everything is discounted but when you consider delivery cost is from £20, there prices are the same as everywhere else. The difference is most other companies offer free delivery when you spendd over £50.

Order says dispatched over a week ago and when checking tracking says they haven’t yet received it yet. I have emailed multiple times and have had zero response, no point even trying to phone as you will not get through. At this moment in time I am very disappointed with the customer service I have received. Order number UK1329953

"Exceptional"
Exceptional. I ordered a set of SALOMON QST 99 DARK BLUE 21 + SALOMON Z12 B100 WHITE/BLACK 21 skis. Naturally with brexit they took a little longer than usual, however this was the UK side, not the French side. The order was easy to track and arrived safe and sound. I then simply submitted the French tax reference back to Ekosport who refund this part as per import regulation. The skis and binding are excellent. I also contacted them prior to purchase asking a few questions, all were answered quickly. I would certainly use them again. Dom

I placed the order for 2 pairs of Head Vector Evo ski boots last Monday evening and they arrived Saturday (5/6 days)
I emailed them with a question about the order which they responded within the hour.
Great products at unbeatable prices!

"A Big Gamble"
I bought a pair of skis and bindings from Eko sport, the delivery to the UK was prompt and reached UK customs in around 3-4 days. However, after paying the £120 customs and UK VAT charge, I realise they have used the wrong house number on my package. The morning was spent locating the other house and trying to contact the homeowner about the issue - it was embarrassing and time-consuming.
In the end, I did manage to attain my skis, and in truth, they were extremely well priced and came undamaged and in good knick. nevertheless, it was clearly stated on the website 'if an Import VAT is asked, we invite you to contact our Customer Service for the refund of the VAT collected on our website.'. At this point, I have now spent nearly over £200 on both french and English VAT, I have sent many emails over the previous 3 weeks following my purchase and have heard nothing back. The phone line on the website is completely useless and will tell you every time you try and contact them that all operators are busy and to contact them another time. So there is almost no way of making any contact with the company.
In summary, using this website is a big gamble, if something is not satisfactory with the products your receive you will likely have major difficulty returning it. the products seem well priced, however, after having to pay both french and English VAT, the costs are easily more in the end.
If Ekosport sees this and wants to refund me £79.39, my delivery number UK1313548.
