"Great service despite a little Brexit disruption"

Very happy with the product which I bought at a very competitive price and feel sorry Ekosport who are on the receiving end of Brexit disruption. I don’t think the negative reviews are fair on a SME that had to scramble to find an alternative courrier when DPD stopped their services abruptly and is now dealing with a huge backlog of queries at a really busy time of year. Reality is the U.K. left the common market and as a result there are now barriers to buying from Europe in the form of customs clearance paperwork, duty and so on, and this is not Ekosport’s fault.

"Ekosport act in a despicable manner"

Ekosport act in a despicable manner. They do not respond, they do not return money they have taken, is this not theft? They then block you from all social media channels when you politely ask them to return money they have effectively stolen. There is actually no way that I can find to contact these scoundrels

"Hardly surprising they have great reviews."

Hardly surprising they have so many great reviews when they don't publish the bad ones.
"Our team read your review and thank you. Unfortunately, it does not respect the rules of publication on our website. It can't be published."
What they mean is it was critical of Ekosport so they wont publish it.
I wrote this review in January and got a reply from EkoSport in May, hardly a prompt response it it takes 4 months to read their reviews.

"Brilliant service and super fast"

Brilliant service and super fast delivery. Delivery costs are high but the prices are really, really good. Overall I’m super happy with this company.

"Bought an item and tried cancel it on…"

Bought an item and tried cancel it on same day (emailed a request). Weeks later with no response they send a Brexit email saying that items waiting for can be cancelled. I then tell them the same day (again) to cancel but yet time passes without response. I then get an email saying they have processed my order so it’s “too late” despite having weeks to sort this and that I should refuse delivery. So my daughters answers the door a few days later as I’d given up the vigil and now I have an item I don’t want, told them I wanted to cancel over weeks and they are no doubt spending my money. Well done Ekosport £40 better off but I’ll never shop with you again - I only hope Brexit makes you pull out the uk market. I’ll be sure to tell my fellow boarders of my experience so hopefully karma prevails.

"I ordered some skis/bindings from…"

I ordered some skis/bindings from Ekosport and I simply could not fault the service - easy to choose and complete the on line forms, email confirmation and delivery notifications were sent very promptly and I received the skis by courier yesterday, less than one week later. Fantastic value and faultless service !

"Non delivery of goods"

I ordered a fleece was shown as sent out then returned to France that was over a month ago despite several attempts to get an update I have received nothing terrible service & by the looks of other comments happens far to often it needs looked into

"Useless customer service but not fake company"

I ordered a coat but when I was told there would be a delay due to brexit/COVID I just requested a refund but it took its time so I started to check reviews on here all saying similar stuff but on the 14th day I did receive my refund so ekosport is not a bogus company as some are claiming

"Lack of customer care"

I see lots of other customers are facing the same issues. Order placed for a jacket as a birthday present. Placed the order with Ekosport as it stated arrival date would be 31 Dec which was just in time for the birthday. Still no sign of it 2 weeks later. Email received saying shipment affected by Brexit. This shouldn't have been a surprise to Ekosport - we've all known Brexit was coming for a long time, companies like this should have had an awareness of implications (incl potential shipping challenges between the EU and UK) and better managed customer expectations. The most frustrating thing is the complete lack of customer support. I have emailed 2 or 3 times now with no response and tried calling on numerous occasions. Each time I call, I get hold music for a couple of minutes before a recorded messages says "sorry none of the team are available to help" and I get cut off. I see responses are being posted by Ekosport on here however. My order no is UK1270066. I would still like to receive the item and understand an additional £12 needs to be paid for customs/clearance. However, I would like to know delivery timescales. If more than a couple of weeks, I may cancel the order.

"Exactly the same as others"

Received notification that our order arrived on 24/12/20 delivered by DPD. It didn’t. Sent many messages and still no response. I understand the Brexit/Covid situation however zero communication means I have no idea what is happening. Very disappointing as we have used Ekosport in the past and had a good service. No excuse for not responding to my requests for an explanation or refund.
