"I would not recommend at all"

I would not recommend at all. customer service only answers at the early hours (3-4am EST). We have received now 2 literally broken hoverboards with cracked pieces. And they forced us to return the broken hoverboards prior to receiving our refund...which we have yet to receive at this point.

"Horrible customer service"

Horrible customer service. They cancelled my order saying it was because of the no fraud company but when I called them, they said it was approved that morning. When I called them back they wouldn’t let me speak to supervisor or honor the sale price I originally purchased it for.

"Happily Unhappy! Now I'm Happy Again"

Let me start with, my daughter lives the electric scooter as it allows her to zoom around her college campus. But after 2 months the scooter is stop and go. I’ve tried to call customer service but no answer just a message then it disconnect. There’s no way for me to communicate the issue to the manufacturer. I’ve emailed and received a message advising me to go to the site for help. I wish I could speak with a human or at least leave a message that a human will follow up with.

5/30/24 This is an update to the above. I received a call from a very polite gentleman apologizing for my experience. I had received a new part to install on my daughters scooter and all works great and it's a solid product. I understand things can go sideways but this company has come through and resolved my experience with them. I would gladly recommend this product.

Bought a GXL V2 and use it mostly for shorter trips. Had an issue w/ a loose neck but customer service was very helpful and responsive. Sent me some parts for free even when I was past the original warranty.

"Worst customer service experience i…"

Worst customer service experience i ever had with any company. Order that i placed somehow got shipped to completely wrong address. When i called the company i got the same customer service representative who was extremely rude and unprofessional telling me that they will not contact ups to reroute the shipment. I called ups 3 times my self and they were unwilling to help without gotrex contacting them . I reached out to gotrax 3 times and even asked for membership or leadership to contact me back i got no response. Once my orders I delivered back to shipper i will be getting my refund and will be looking to purchase my product from a different company. Absolutely the worst company to deal with if your order was not processed correctly

"Worst experience ever; but successfully resolved. "

Following my two reviews below, I received a call from David from customer service. David’s goal was to try and restore my faith in this company’s service and remedy my very negative experience. He honestly acknowledged the many deficiencies their in their customer service and vowed to address all concerns, striving to restore customer satisfaction. Since I had already returned my scooter and stopped credit card payment, David offered to send me one of theee scooters free of charge to demonstrate his commitment going forward. I agreed and chose one, which arrived yesterday, this time with all necessary assembly parts, cord and charger. David has indeed responded and restored my faith in this company and I wanted to share this experience as well. It’s apparent they are trying to resolve saw serious issues successfully and I thank him v.


Worst experience ever. Scooter came without the assembly screws, without a charger or cord. When I called I was told I needed to file a warranty claim?!! Warranty??! The item is useless if it cannot be assembled or charged. I told them This isn’t a warranty issue but they said this is how it’s handled. Really?!! And the warranty department doesn’t take phone calls. Worst company EVER!

"GX3 replaced by Gotrax after being damaged "

I hit a large pot hole on my GX3 and unfortunately broke some parts that are not available to purchase yet due to the scooter being a new model.
Gotrax was very quick to respond when I contacted them and they ultimately ended up shipping me a new scooter after sending the broken one back to them.

"Horrible experience"

Horrible experience. I bought a scooter on their Black Friday sale. A week later, the scooter was $50 cheaper and when I asked if I could be credited the difference, they said they don’t offer that. This was my second scooter from GoTrax and it will be my last. Bakcou will apparently be my e-bike choice this summer.

Edit following their reply: it was not before their Black Friday sale. It was called their early Black Friday sale when I bought it. That implies it’s their Black Friday sale being posted early. Not their “the week before our sales really happen” sale.
