"The GOTRAX G4 is a phenomenal scooter"

The GOTRAX G4 is a phenomenal scooter. Strong performance, and is built as great as it looks! I am a former GOTRAX Rival owner and would HIGHLY recommend this scooter. Also delivered to my doorstep in less than a week!

"110% terrible experience. Defective scooter C.S. is a joke"

I bought the GX1. Day 10 it abruptly powers off mid ride & absolutely will not turn back on. I called CS to return it Mon & they say to give them 24-48hrs to respond, called back Wed because I hadn’t received a reply & the 14 day return period window was approaching. They again say give them 24-48hrs to respond, called back Fri (still hadn’t got a response and they say give them another 24-72hrs to respond. Phone rep advised me to do a chargeback. I did that & next day was emailed a return shipping label. Promptly returned it and they never refunded me so the chargeback held. That was 2 months ago. Recently they resubmitted the charge to discover & I’m angry. They received return immediately and it was genuine defective(wouldn’t turn on) never wrecked, factory box everything & not only did they not refund me but have the nerve to wait 2 months & try to charge me again(even tho they have the scooter. 100% most awful unprofessional experience w any company ever. The item was genuine defective & returned within return period. Re the scooter, it was bulky, heavy, limited turning ability, fast, defective. Gotrax owes me a formal apology after all this honestly.

"My brand new bike arrived BROKEN! I must fix it myself?!?!"

Edit after receiving handle: My new handle arrived 3 months later and it cost me an additional $100 for it to be installed, just to be able to ride this "New" bike. My experience with this company was terrible.

Edit after Gotrax support reply: I did reach out to your support, through the exact channels provided, and this is the ONLY option I was given; I asked for a refund or replacement! Based on other reviews here: We shall see if I actually receive the new brake lever I was promised to be shipped to me... Your canned replies are a joke.

My brand new bike arrived with a broken brake handle (from the factory due to nothing wrong with the shipping container), rendering it unusable until it's fixed. Gotrax's solution is to ship me a new brake handle (3-4 weeks for shipping) and I have to replace it myself! So, here I have a brand new broken bike that I have to wait approximately a month to fix myself before I can safely ride it.

That's some seriously lousy customer service! I will not be making any further purchases from Gotrax.

"This company has went above and beyond…"

This company has went above and beyond for me. I was having issues with my scooter and had to replace it several times. I wanted to upgrade my scooter and they just exchanged it to a G4 for free due to my multiple issues. This thing runs so much smoother faster and safer at the same time. The brake light is real neat as well. Digital lock and built in combo lock. Absolutely love this thing. Kinda feel silly being 43 and riding around my neighborhood, checking out new construction to get fresh air. But I have too much fun riding around. Just need a seat now.

"Two bateries failed"

I bough a GOTRAX EBE8 and after few usages the battery fail. The lights show that it is full charged but no power r is delivered by the battery. As I had it for more that 6 months it was no more under warranty so ha had to purchase a new battery. With the new battery the failure occurs even faster. At my third run with the bike after a couple of minutes riding the battery fails. It continues to indicate full charge but no power is delivered. I try to contact GOTRAX Canada but I did not have any answer from them. Very poor product.

"Haven't received it yet"

Haven't received it yet. There best response is to contact the mailing company. Was originally going to get the 8th. Then on 9th said delivered today and nothing. 10th whilr at work says delivered. Get home to no package.

"Ignored despite warranty"

I bought one of these for my son. Almost immediately, the console broke and so the light stayed on all the time. I asked for a replacement, but was sent a used console which worked for some months. However, then that console broke as well. I have been emailing the support email address they provide and the company has completely ignored my requests for a replacement even though the scooter is still under warranty!!! No response! I would not recommend anyone buy these scooters or work with this company.

"Non-existent customer service"

My sons $550 g5 scooter lasted for 2.5 weeks and just stopped charging. I’ve now gone back and forth with customer service for over a month trying to get it fixed/replaced. Each time I return an email I have to wait 3 business days for response. If you call, you can’t speak to anyone about your issue and if you ask for a manager they tell you they can’t connect you to anyone. Im very nice and not a Karen but I'm so frustrated. It’s my sons only mode of transportation and I'm having to be late and leave early from work. I just want this to be fixed and no matter how much pleading I do, I get nowhere.

"Last week I purchased an Apex Pro…"

Last week I purchased an Apex Pro GoTrax scooter for my son. It was a refurbished scooter but I took a chance to save a hundred bucks. The article said there was minimal wear but it was functional and all parts were included. However once he received it is missing the two screws to connect the handle bars to the scooter and it also is missing the power cord. I sent an email on Friday and I am hoping I'll receive a reply early next week.
