One of two bikes arrived damaged -
I reached out to gotrax - ridiculously told to file warranty claim - call customer service, was told to email tech- tech said (oh once they finally get around to responding to me) told , they will get back to me- 2 months later - ZERO Help OR assistance from gotrax-
Took booking bike that arrived to me via shipping too. ( pay a bike shop to repair, out of pocket costs). Battery terminal and pins damaged while shipping to me.
I’ve asked for a replacement pin plate.
Zero response from go trax- I’ve filed a warranty claim -
Zero response from gotrax -
I AM do DISAPPOINTED BY COMPANIES CUSTOMER SERVICE, their techs, their warranties response.
(I would have referred people to them)
But if you by s bike snd there’s a issue- No hrlp, no assistance- HORRIBLE -
(Like working bike) - next bike will be bought locally , maybe they’ll care and help customer-
BOUGHT BIKES JULY 2023 - immediately asked gotrax for help - ( zero help) paid bike shop to repair damage from shipping-
Asked again for help Sept, repeat request. Received nothing.
Now May 31, 2024, almost a year later. Receive reply to my review.
I do not see how to reply to person . ( since I bought 2 bikes, had them ship. YOU ALREADY HAVE MY contact INFO.
Let’s get something straight - we like bikes-
Just do not like - once bought, no customer service

The experience on my return and getting my money back is horrible there cancellation process is not good at all they need a better system and more options to handle situations as such and hopefully you can come out with better tires than air tires for your products if you did I’m sure myself and others would get product and keep them

"Arrived on Sunday"

Arrived on Sunday. My 12 year old was riding it around the neighborhood after school and he came home upset informing me the rear fender broke! He probably had 90min of use by this point. We welded it back on he went down the same hill and he came back upset because it broke off again and is now hanging on by the light. HOW! Also, he tested out an Apex Pro and this one just seems really loud in comparison as it’s being driven. I hope the motor is not defective. It just wheezes.

"Our bike quit working after one week"

Our bike quit working after one week. I have emailed customer support, submitted a warranty claim and tried to call customer service with no response.

Update 10/5/23, GoTrax replied to the initial poor review with the message below. I called the number they referenced in the review and there is still literally no way to talk to a person. Their email communication response times are terrible with each one taking 3-4 business days to respond.

I finally filed a compliant with the BBB and they responded within the BBB system nearly immediately. GoTrax assured me the part they shipped would fix the issue or I would be refunded my money. I can confirm the part did exactly nothing; the bike is still broke & useless. I have now waited 3 business days from sending proof the part did not resolve the issue with no response or refund. It has been nearly a month since we initially reached out to them for support and nothing has been resolved. This has been and continues to be an extremely frustrating experience.

I would strongly advise all consumers to avoid buying from this company. I sincerely hope all the other one star reviewers will also file complaints with the BBB to help force this company to stand behind it's products.

"Extremely Disappointed "

The box came all beat up and scooter was scratched up and the hand grips had slice marks in them. Scooter seems very cheap and directions to connect it was not for the scooter we bought seeing it made no sense with what we had to work with. My 8 year old son was over the top happy to get this and then extremely disappointed once it arrived. Would not recommend this scooter to anyone.

"My scooter repeatedly shows an error…"

My scooter repeatedly shows an error code E9 multiple times on every ride. Can’t go a mile without getting that annoying error code at least once. When I called customer service I waited for almost an hour till I gave up. Sent an email and you guys responded saying you’d send a replacement motor wheel but never followed through. This is the second gotrax I’ve bought, the first I returned on Amazon for also having issues. Regret my purchase. Won’t be recommending.

"DO NOT BUY. BAD QUALITY"

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT BUY A GOTRAX SCOOTER. Bought 2 scooters and both arrived with a dead battery.

"Tire is already flat after a month"

Tire is already flat after a month, but it doesn't appear GoTrax is willing to replace. Normal use and back tire is already flat, will not hold air. Extremely frustrated
