"Nice bike but troublesome to put…"
Nice bike but troublesome to put together and issues with brakes. The bike comes very well packed and shipped but the instructions for putting everything together are missing a lot of details.
For example, they screw a large round flat piece into where the tire is supposed to be installed in the front to avoid any brake disc damage. In shipment, the piece broke off leaving some plastic piece inside the screw hole for the front tire, so it took me an hour to try and get out the plastic piece that was stuck inside. I had to get my own Alan tool super hot so it would adhere to the plastic once cooled and then twist/pound it out.
After that fiasco and the bike was fully put together, I pulled once on both brakes, brake on the front made a loud sound and became so loose there was no brake. I fixed it, or so i thought, but whenever the brake is used, the line line slips out of the clamp plate and is unusable until I can fix it again. I’m quite certain the clamp plate is bent from shipping and is why the brake keeps slipping. Support wants me to send a video of the issue (hard to do when riding it) and so far has been extremely unhelpful and disappointing.
BUY THE WARRANTY or possibly spend more money to get a truly quality ride.

"G4: Great scooter, excellent service"
I purchased the G4. For such an inexpensive scooter, I was really impressed with the power and just overall quality. Shipping took about a week. It was mostly assembled, but took about 15 minutes to put the few pieces together and only an allen wrench (supplied) was needed. I had no need to contact the company. Everything went smooth. I've now got 30 miles on it, and I'm really happy with it.

My son bought himself the GoTrax XR Elite several months ago, around spring. Within 2 weeks the front tire had popped, I attempted to order a new tube and replace it myself which did not work. So I contacted customer service and they sent a new one. A few weeks later the fender broke off the rear wheel. They sent a new fender. Then a few weeks later the scooter would not drive, it had full charge, display screen worked but it would not drive. GoTrax refused to give me my money back. So I fixed it myself. Now 2 weeks after new tire was put on, it’s popped again. My son has been riding it very cautiously because of all the things that continue to break.
I would give this product a zero if I could. But I can’t
Literally one thing after another continues to break and the company refused to stand behind their product.

After reading about electric bikes for some time and talking with friends who have one and having a limit as to what we wanted to spend, we decided on the GoTrax. I bought this for my husband's birthday who will be 73 (I am 86) and we couldn't be happier. Just the right size, weight and equipment. We have a lot of gentle hills and trails in our area where some of our friends use quite often. He is looking forward to joining them. The bike came well packed and easy to set up. If there are any changes in our attitudes, I will keep you posted. So far, thanks for your quick response and quality bike.

Got my battery DOA though. I’ve had this bike for almost 3 weeks and still havent been able to use it :(
Support is cool, they offered to replace it. However they made a shipping label that didn't go anywhere, I had to follow up to find out the batteries are out of stock for 2-3 weeks. If you need to go thru support, always follow up!
Still waiting on the replacement battery, so not a good experience so far, but it is what it is. The bike is decent quality, cant wait to ride it… one day.

My son bought an electric scooter and had problems with the charge/motor.
GoTrax resolved the issue and sent him a new one. He really appreciated that and is riding around town happy again. Thank you.

"This is the worst customer service…"
This is the worst customer service model ever. I’d love to share how my son is enjoying his scooter but it’s almost been a month and he’s never received it. I’ve called, and emailed several times. I sent a message via Facebook messenger with the order details. The order sits in “label created” status and the scooter has been in stock the entire time. No information that it would be delayed. In fact, two email agents ( the ones who can contact the warehouse- phone agents can’t) told me on two different occasions we’d receive this in two days. After we didn’t receive it, they said “ just be patient.” !!!!! The agents who answer the phone have escalated this twice to a supervisor. Zero contacts back. The auto email says they’ll be in touch in 72 hours it’s been 6 days from that email with no information. Your phone agents should be able to help more than they can. They can’t even contact the warehouse where the scooter sits in stock ! My son saved his money to buy this so he could get to practice. Gotrax is in the business of stealing money from and totally deflating 14 year olds. Beyond maddening. Still waiting for a supervisor …

"I ordered 2 G5 eScooters and the…"
I ordered 2 G5 eScooters and the extended warranty just incase. Sadly these beast scooters have failed in so many ways.
First, the tires continue to be soft and easy to puncture , and conveniently are not covered under warranty as if they knew the tire are poor quality.
Second, random errors popup making the devices inoperable until you have time to check all the extremely tight cables and reset, only to have them fail again the next day.
Third, customer service doesn't appear to give a hoot and reach out to the customers.
Little disappointed by the high reviews saying this product is one of the best, but so far I am not impressed.
If they ever contact us regarding the lemons they sold us andake it right I would suggest no one purchase these products.
See below how horrible this company is they respond in October from a post in June. Thumbs down allaround so Don't Buy!
