"I’m being forced into paying £220 to…"
I’m being forced into paying £220 to have land maintained that doesn’t even include the land in front of my house.
Then I found out it’s not a fixed fee and can be anything depending on work that needs carrying out on the entire site except for the land infront of my house.
I’m extremely annoyed!
I haven’t dropped this issue I’ve just paid to get it off my desk until I can come back to it, which I will.
I have been waiting for a return call from greenbelt to show me how to contact the site owners but it’s been 2 weeks and no one has come back to me/

"It has taken me weeks of concentrated…"
It has taken me weeks of concentrated effort to locate where the real problem with the massive rise in outdoor lighting costs and fees for grass cutting over the last 6 months.... Not with the electrical supplier or gardener but with Greenbelt Group.... I am so tired of their evasiveness and stock answers. Unelected and arrogant (ring a bell?) Luckily, my lawyer is laser focussed and is now all over them. She is aware of the directors modus operandii from years ago "Leeches" apparently! 1 star only as I cannot give zero........

Stacey responded to my email enquiry by ringing me within 20 minutes. We then settled my query very promptly. I was very impressed with the service.

"Acted appropriately when the direct debit failed"
For an unknown reason the direct debit stopped leading to late payment charge. A simple call was all that was required to resolve the situation and for the late payment charge to be refunded. Sometimes things just go wrong for unknown reasons. Greenbelt could see that this was the case and acted appropriately.

"Lighting costs"
In our last billing date, Greenbelt quadrupled the cost of our green walkway area. This remarkable increase has been attributed to an electric bill for 8 light bollards. The cost to light these bollards is coming in at around £3000. The average cost in our development for a domestic bill in the same time frame is around 900. Therefore its costing almost as much to light the walk way as it is 3.5 houses. Are these the most expensive bollards in the UK? Possibly. When asked to provide evidence to justify the electricity costs, they have gone very quiet. How hard is it to find the electricity bills for the period in question? Are their any bills? Are they making stuff up? Questions we may never find out. There is a growing anger amongst our residents grouping. Judging by previous reviews we are not alone. The 5 star reviews are obviously very dubious at best and almost a fraud at worst. Avoid like the plague
