bought a pair of barbour tempest wellies, they both leaked after about a year, shoddy product at expensive price, contacted barbour, they could not have cared less, never buy their crap products,poorly made and overpriced

"Your online check out experience is…..."

Your online check out experience is terrible due to your address look up system. Took me 20min and several tries with no success to input my door number due to your system selecting automatically a door number that was incorrect. You should allow manual input or correction of addresses on your check out. I ended up adding the correct door number on the “name field” otherwise I would not be able to place an order as it would end up going to the wrong address.

"POOR POOR POOR!..."

Barbour agreed to replace a pair of boots less than a year old and only worn, maybe a dozen times, when the soles started coming off. The boots in question were out of stock. Ordered and paid the difference for alternatives. Received an email saying that they would arrive within 7-10 days, now well past that, told today they haven't been picked or packed in the warehouse yet for shipping and it now won't be until the New Year. Bad enough them falling apart, but this is just adding insult to injury! Their history and reputation for quality seems to be hiding the actual reality.

"Awful awful experience...."

Still hadn't dispatched my item after 10 days. I email to ask what is going on, and then they decide to tell me the item is out of stock and they will refund me. 5 days before Christmas!!! An absolute joke.

"No communication or delivery..."

Ordered a Christmas present 10 12 I’ve heard nothing so called customer services and it seems it won’t arrive before Christmas unless I’m very lucky unlike the recipient an elderly relative with cold hands and no gloves

"Extremely poor communication..."

Extremely poor communication regarding delivery status.

Placed an order 07/12/21 had to phone customer services to check on the status of the order on 20/12/21 and was informed the order hadn’t even been picked ready for dispatch, very poor service.

Really disappointing will not buy directly from Barbour ever again - avoid.

"Alteration..."

I recently had the sleeves of my Barbour lengthened by a couple of inches. I am very impressed with the quality of work and have had a very good experience.


I purchased the coat over a year ago but felt the sleeves were too short. I only recently found out about the repair and alteration service and am happy to recommend

"Shockingly bad website..."

Shockingly bad website, delivery lead times, and communication on order status.

Really disappointing from a company that has great brand reputation. Clunky and buggy website, incorrectly showing stock and switching orders to collect from store rather than delivery.

Ordered well in time for Christmas, now delayed to the point where it won't be here in time. Unable to cancel the order, so much now return after it is delivered in store. Useless.

Customer service rep helpful, but overall experience awful. Will not buy directly from Barbour ever again - avoid.

"Poor item and customer service..."

I purchased a Barbour hold all, expecting a quality item. The sticking on the zip came apart after the second outing. I emailed Barbour and have had no reply from them.

Poor item and poor customer service. Looking at the other reviews I am not the only person to think this.

"worst company ever..."

worst company ever, avoid if you want you stuff, told me would be here within 10 days from order, guess what it wasn't, then told me it was on next day delivery, guess what, guess what it wasn't, then i was told i couldn't cancel my order, absolute joke,
