"Terrible company if you need to make a claim!"
Terrible company if you need to make a claim. Booked a car with them last summer with Extra insurance cover and unfortunately had to make a claim.
Same situation as a lot of other people on here. I received an email in September saying my claim had been successful and payment of €1100 would be transferred within 90 days. 90 days came and went with no transfer.
Emailed, as there’s no telephone number for customer service, chasing my payment and nothing. Emailed weekly chasing and no response. Decided to call their rental number and got through to a nice lady called Sarah who assured me she’d spoken to the CS department and my payment would be sent shortly. She even sent me what turned out to be a meaningless email confirming the same, but now another week has passed with no further news or payment received.
Like a lot of people have already said this company is shocking and their insurance policy must be a scam!
What to do now????
Save yourself a big headache and don’t use this company!!

"Habe 12.8.2019 über check24 bei vehicle…"
Habe 12.8.2019 über check24 bei vehicle rent für ca.240€ ein Auto in Antalya gemietet. vehicle rent hat die lokale Firma "active rent a car" dafür beauftragt. Hatte bei check24 Abholung und Abgabe am Flughafen gebucht, mit "all inclusive" Versicherung.
am Flughafen angekommen, musste ich die Firma erst anrufen damit die kommen!
Die Übergabe fand nicht am Flughafen statt. Wir, (ich und meine Kinder 5,7) wurden stattdessen in ein Gebäude außerhalb des Flughafens gefahren. Dort angekommen wurde ich aufgefordert den "Restbetrag" in Höhe von 170 €zu zahlen.
musste erst beweisen das ich den vollen Betrag bei check24 schon bezahlt habe.
darauf nahm er meine VISA-Karte und steckte es in sein Gerät rein. Er meinte er könne den fälligen Betrag in Höhe von 700€ nicht blockieren. Meine Karte würde nicht funktionieren. Aber ich könnte für 130€ eine Zusatzversicherung abschließen, dann bräuchte er die 700€ nicht blockieren.
Habe abgelehnt, da meine Karte voll funktionsfähig war, und auch die Deckung über 700€ gegeben war. Die firma "active rent a car" wollte aber entweder die 130€ oder es gab kein Auto. Daraufhin haben sie mich zurück zum Flughafen gefahren und und ich musste mit einem Taxi zum Hotel. Es kam also zu keiner Vermietung!!!
Zurück aus dem Urlaub habe ich mich mit check24 in Verbindung gesetzt. Die haben vehicle rent angeschrieben. Als Antwort kam: Diese Buchung wurde als No-Show gewertet, und sie wollten nichts erstatten.
Habe mich wieder bei check24 gemeldet.heck 24 verlangte von mir eine Bestätigung meiner Bank, das die Karte gültig war und die Deckungssumme abgedeckt war. Habe dann eine Bestätigung meiner Bank bei check24 eingereicht. Meine Bank konnte auch keine Anfrage auf meine Visakarte am 12.8.2019 feststellen!
Check24 hat wieder bei vehicle rent angefragt. Antwort von vehicle rent: die Reklamation wird abgelehnt!
Also seriös geht anders! Ich bin auch von CHECH 24 sehr enttäuscht, weil sie sich mit solchen dubiosen Firmen viele Kunden vergraulen lassen. Ich habe in der Vergangenheit viele Urlaube über check24 gebucht, aber das wird sich definitiv in der Zukunft ändern!!!
Ich sage ganz klar:
FINGER WEG VON "VEHICLE RENT" UND AUCH VON "ACTIVE RENT A CAR" IN ANTALYA
Bis jetzt gibt es keine Stellungnahme seitens VEHICLE RENT warum die Reklamation abgelehnt wird, obwohl ich klar beweisen konnte, daß es nicht mein Fehler war sondern, ACTIVE RENT A CAR unberechtigt mehr Geld verlangt hat, und ich nicht bereit war das zu zahlen.

"Suspission d'arnaque en col blanc."
Cette société a bonne apparence, mais me donne l'impression d'arnaque en col blanc.
Sur une location en Crète en Juin 2019. Après une petite rayure et montage du dossier à mon retour de vacances, Vehicle Rent me fais savoir, fin Aout qu'il m'est redevable de la somme de 201,95€.
Nous sommes en Janvier 2020 et apprès moultes relances écrites et téléphoniques, je ne suis toujours pas remboursé.
La société serait en dépôt de bilan? Aucune explication n'est donnée.
Le personnel qui répond est certes très aimable, mais en aucun cas n'explique ce genre de comportement, pour le moins, peu commercial.
Je m'attend à une réponse aussi mielleuse que lénifiante.

As with anyone else that has made a claim through the relax package. Initial communications were all positive, then the 90 days message, then nothing
Claim was authorized on 4th Sept 2019
No response to email sent on 11th Dec 2019
Latest email sent 18th Jan I will update when I get a response
We should not have to resort to negative reviews to get claim resolutions.
Update: 25th Jan 2020 - Thanks for the response, I can confirm the payment has reached my account.

DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!
I was told I should wait 90 days to be reimbursed for an accident I had in September 2019.
I have sent emails requesting this refund and asking why the payment is taking so long. I have received several reply’s that are very apologetic in tone yet still not received the reimbursement.
Customer service are not able to help as state they have no access to the accounts department other then sending them an email and refuse to supply me with a contact number so that I can speak directly to the people responsible for payments.
They are not able to explain why I haven’t been payed out or how long I can expect to wait.
I’m not sure what’s going on here but this is definitely not a company I would ever use again and wish that I had dealt directly with Car hire company.

If there was an option for 0 star would go for that. Was charged the full amount of the cost at the time of booking the vehicle. Received a policy of confirmation where it was explained that I don't need to pay to the supplier. Also the deposit was supposed to be 1200 euro. Not only I have experienced a deposit of 1400 euro taken but also a very unpleasant forcing to pay again at the first day of using the vehicle and at the time of returning. There is a conscious miscommunication between the company and the supplier causing stress to the customers with the intention to steal and fool them. Fortunately I have a witness, videos and pictures to proceed for a legal claim should they keep not explaining the issue. Would advise customers to avoid this company and to be very careful with similar cheaters.

"Fraudulent company - SCAM"
Fraudulent company. I made a reservation 2 months before my travelling and paid fully for the car rental, only to be advised 1 week before by vehicle rent that I will need to pay the amount again when collecting my car as there was an issue between them and the supplier. I was assured I will be fully refunded, it been a month and have not received a refund nor are vehicle rent responding to my emails. Don't trust this company!!!!

... ho già inviato una segnalazione negativa un mese fa, solite scuse e nessun fatto concreto, mi chiedo se qualcuno ha ricevuto veramente il rimborso della franchigia come da loro prospettato...
Sono senza parole.
Leggo inoltre che alcuni utenti, che hanno fatto richiesta di rimborso dopo di me, che state procedendo al rimborso immediato.
Ma che comportamento è?

SCAM - STAY AWAY ESPECIALLY IF YOU NEED TO PUT A CLAIM FOR A REFUND
Put a request in October 2019 for a refund and was advised in early November that I will be refunded asap but within maximum 90 days. Having read the comments of the extremely poor experience of people of their services, I started to email as of December to have an update and an estimate of my refund date. Their claims department has gone completely AWOL and is not responding to the many emails I have been sending to have an update. When I call their customer service they come up with the lamest and disrespectful response for a customer who is claiming his lawfully owed money “Sorry its not our fault, you need to connect with claim department. Keep sending emails and they will need to pick it up”. I mean for real ? This is like customer service already know that we are unlikely to get any money back and advise to send email to ghosts. When I confronted the agent on phone saying “Ok but am I to keep emailing that address for a week, a month, a year she had nothing else to say but sorry I cannot do anything else !” Poor experience for a company that claims to be “driven by passion and customer experience”. Looking at taking actions with customer institutions and basically leveraging social media to get a response and hopefully my money back as in the world we live in looks like its the only way to get a reaction !
