"A SCAM COMPANY : Claim accepted but never refunded after 7 months"

I have had the same issue as many other reviewers below, with a claim made in June 2019. I got the message from them on the 21st of June 2019 confirming that my claim had been successfully processed and that I have been entitled to a 450€ refund. They also said that it would take up to 90 days to receive payment. It's now the 17th of January 2020 and i'm still waiting. I have emailed many times them to ask when should I get my refund but each time I get the same answer "we apologize for the delay but we are waiting for the accounting department to issue the refund, bla bla bla". Then, beginning from november they stopped answering me so I had to call them on the phone every single week but nothing is done and it was impossible to get through to the right person.
I have waited so long and nothing is coming and now they even ignored me.
I really regret that I booked on their website.

Exactly same as all other reviews. Damage a car in June. SUPER EXCESS cover. Confirm claim and x amount would be refunded after 90 days. 16th Jan 2020. What can we do now? Office of fair trading! Some ombudsman? You try and do the right thing and this is outcome. How can so many of us can go though this and it isn’t stopped?

Los proveedores no son evaluados, y no hay forma de que ellos intervengan con estos.
Un desastre total. No lo recomiendo.

I rented a car in Nice during Christmas time.
Shortly before the rental period, I have received the following email:

"Due to cooperation change between Vehicle Rent and rental company Keddy, we have changed the payment type of your reservation, this means that at the time of your pick-up, Keddy will charge you the amount of 96.12 GBP, which was originally prepaid to us."

Now, I have tried to contact with vehicle rent a number of times with no luck. They won't reply to my emails and I heard nothing from them.

Ich kann mich nur den meisten hier anschließen. Auch ich habe im September die Unterlagen für die Erstattung eingereicht.
Am 6.12.19 eine Antwort erhalten, dass das Geld rückerstattet wird.
Seit dem noch nie was gehört. Auf meine Nachfrage kam eine email :“ es könnte bis 35 Tage dauern „. Ich Miete seit 20 Jahren Autos aber so etwas habe ich noch nie erlebt.
Wenn es darum geht Geld einzuholen, dann geht alles schnell aber umgekehrt ist es immer eine Qual. Schade das im Jahr 19/20 noch solche Fälle vorkommen müssen. Und nein, es ist nichts erfunden. Hier die Nummer: NS27560471

I got the message from them on 14th October that my claim had been successfully processed and that I would receive 469,00Euro but it would take up to 90 days to receive payment. Its now 16th Jan 2020 and i'm still waiting. I've email them questioning when i would have the refund in my account and never get a reply from them.

Their "Super Excess Insurance" is a scam. I have had the same issues as other reviewers below, with a claim in July/Aug 2019. I got the message from them on 2nd Aug that my claim had been successfully processed and that I would receive 260.44 Euro but it would take up to 90 days to receive payment. Its now 16th Jan 2020 and i'm still waiting. It's impossible to get through to the right person on the phone and the girl in bookings keeps telling me that their claims department is dealing with it. I have spoken to my solicitor who is also struggling to find a contact number so I am now going to the Daily Mail to expose these people. I encourage all you peole who have the same issues to contact the Daily Mail.

The people who posted a positive are actually reviewing the car rental company, but do not realise this. Vehicle Rent are not the rental company, they are an agent.

"Nous avons pas eu le véhicule souhaité.."

Nous avons pas eu le véhicule dont nous avons réserver. Le loueur nous a dit que c'étais une autre personne qui l'avais et que nous devions attendre l'après-midi. On a du attendre 2h avant d'avoir un autre véhicule qui bien sur etais pas celui que nous avions réserver.. Nous avons payer le parking directement alors que nous venions tout juste de prendre le véhicule. Nous avons rendu le vehicul le 29/12/2019 et aujourd'hui nous somme le 15/01/2020 et nous avons toujours pas eu la caution annulé. Personne a l'arrivée avec la pancarte comme c'était marquer sur le site de location nous avons du demander à l'aéroport pour pouvoir savoir et nous avons du allez de nous même chercher l'endroit exacte pour récupérer le vehicul.

The same story with many others with the insurance claim that was successful and should be refunded within 90 days, 6 months on and no refund.They don't reply to emails if you call their general number they just say that they will contact me with an update, which is never the case as i called and emailed countless times within those 6 months. I will report them to the European consumer centre.
