"HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE RETURN POLICY"

First, their stuff is of the best quality. I purchased some items from their online store. They arrived as expected. The next day my packaged arrived, I was so thrilled I went back to the website to buy more and much to my surprise the items that I previously were marked down 70%. Of course, I wanted the better price. That is when my nightmare began. First, I tried calling them over 20X. Regardless of the time of day, an answering service directed sending an email. After my 20th time calling, I wrote them an email asking if they could either give me the lower price or send me the mailing label instructions to return the higher priced items so that I could repurchase them at the lower price. Since, then I have sent 3 follow-up emails never receiving any type of confirmation. While their clothing line is top quality, the service is garbage. I have already repurchased the lower priced items and am still waiting on them to give me the return instructions. I would not recommend that you do business with them for this reason alone. A good reputable company as such should have all their affairs in place before, during and after the customer iteration. These folks are disappointing on the back end of things. Buyer beware.

Al jaren klant, maar sinds de overname is de kwaliteit echt vreselijk. Terwijl de prijzen hetzelfde zijn gebleven. Je betaalt voor een premium prijs flut kleding. De jassen zijn al helemaal niet meer om over naar huis te schrijven. Een 'winterjas' besteld, zo dun: het voelde alsof ik een colbert aantrok. Kwaliteit ook poep. Maar teruggestuurd. Hopelijk gaat dat goed gezien de recensies. Shirts en truien zijn ook slecht. Broeken zijn wel van goede kwaliteit. Maar wat wil je voor €130 voor een jeans... ik zal niet zo snel meer wat bij scotch en soda kopen, ook al vind ik alles supergaaf. Je bent een dief uit je eigen portemonnee. Laatst was na het wassen de complete mouw van m'n truitje los gaan laten bij het stiksel. Ik kreeg zonder moeite een nieuwe mee in de winkel. Maar wat ik van reviews lees is dat de klantenservice online erg slecht is.

"Frustrerend"

Wauw, wat ben ik teleurgesteld in Scotch en Soda... Ik heb een pakketje retour gestuurd en vervolgens blijkt 1 artikel niet goed retour gekomen. Dat kan gebeuren en ik begrijp dat het lastig is voor S&S om te achterhalen welke artikelen ik heb teruggestuurd. Ik heb eerst gemaild, vervolgens kreeg ik een mail terug of ik het retourformulier toe wilde zenden. Die heb ik terug gestuurd. Na 5 werkdagen nog niks gehoord dus gebeld. Ik kreeg iemand aan de telefoon aan wie ik de situatie uitlegde en ze ging het even aan een collega vragen zei ze. Ik heb vervolgens 25 min gewacht. Omdat ik zelf aan het werk moest heb ik opgehangen. Eind van de dag weer gebeld en ik kreeg dezelfde persoon aan de telefoon. Weer 15 min in de wacht gezet. Ze zei dat haar collega het nog niet uit had kunnen zoeken maar dat die collega het de volgende dag zou gaan doen. De volgende dag heb ik aan het einde van de dag gebeld en ik kreeg iemand anders aan de telefoon. Ik vroeg haar of ze kon zien of het haar collega gelukt was en ze moest diep zuchten. Ze vertelde me dat ze zag dat er nog niks is gebeurd. Ze vroeg me om weer te mailen, maar voordat m’n mail beantwoord kon worden zou het wel een paar dagen duren waarschijnlijk. Inmiddels moet ik bijna de factuur betalen en heb ik de neiging om het geretourneerde artikel te betalen. Ik ben al bijna 2 weken aan het bellen en mailen.

De laatste medewerker vertelde me dat het erg druk is en dat er veel nieuwe mensen zijn. Dat geloof ik, maar ik vind het bijzonder dat ik als ik bel binnen 2 minuten iemand aan de telefoon krijg.

I bought two pairs of jeans and was told delivery was free. I then received an email from the courier asking for payment of substantial import taxes to the UK due to Brexit. Despite attempting to contact the company ok multiple occasions over the last month I have still not received a response on how to resolve this - I just want a refund!

There is no warning at all of British customers being subject to additional fees at the point of delivery. Be warned!

I bought a product which looked great online but the fit didn't suit me so I returned it via post. Within days my refund was in my account with prompt and respectful email updates until then.

"Misleading information"

Like other reviewers below I was hit with a 50% import fee. Having read the comments here and S&S assurances that they are making it clear on their website that VAT will be added, I must say this is not the case. In the check-out process the only hints when you are about to pay says "the order will be shipped from the Netherlands." No info about charges this may incur to the customer. Their Brexit update which is only accessible through the page footer and not referenced during the purchase process also states that VAT is already included in the price. I would appreciate a clarification from Scotch and Soda on this. The responses to questions below are simply not correct.

"Pakketje"

Ik bestelde vorige week mijn pakketje, 1 week later kreeg ik de track&trace. Deze blijft steeds op ‘wordt klaargemaakt door ss staan’. Ik nam al tweemaal contact op met de klantenservice, zonder enige respons.

Do not buy from this website - It states it is an Official UK SCOTCH & SODA UK website and if you purchase goods over £50 there is NO shipping costs, this is completely incorrect - read their TERMS AND CONDITIONS, you will get charged over 30% of the cost of the goods purchased. I also returned an item and have had NO correspondence or refund from this company. Appalling service on contacting their Customer Services, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE or COMPANY.
