"Etihad contact mail is a closed mail address"

The Etihad contact mail on this Trustpilot page (socialmedia-at-etihad.ae) has been closed and is returning the following text:

Please note that this inbox is no longer monitored, so your query has not been shared with our team.

It means that you're stuck with their CHAT that do not solve any issues..."No worries Sir - we will do out best" - which apparantly is nothing
There do not seem to be any response or reaction at all on the Trustpilot evaluations either.
I will upon request be happy to document: issue, booking number, ticket reference, names of more than 20 employees that I have been in contact with during the last 1,5 Month e.t.c.
But so far, I haven't got neither what I booked nor any refund.

"Worst l call centre"

Etihad call centre, and more so my experience with them, is perhaps the worst and most disgusting experience I have ever had. The level of incompetencey, the deception and lies, including lack of understanding surpasses any thing I could imagine.

I beg you, do not make the same mistake and fly with Etihad.

I have been travelling with Etihad for 10 years, and past couple of years on business flights, and I am done.

"Be careful! Steal your money from your account"

Be careful! They steal from your account!

Always use a credit card linked to a bank account that has only the amount of the ticket you purchase.

I bought tickets for myself and family two daya after they withdraw the same amount from my account. I call them, i write to their customer service they just stall and deny. My bank confirms the money was withdrawn and is on etihads account but etihad denies.

Thiefs!!! Scammers ! Never never again...

"Hin-und Rückflug schrecklich "

Ich habe eine absolut schreckliche Erfahrung mit dieser Airline gemacht. Auf dem Hinflug kam mein Gepäck nicht an und ich konnte es erst Tage später wiederbekommen. Auf dem Rückweg hat die Airline dann einfach meinen Anschlussflug storniert, sodass ich die Reise zwar angetreten habe, aber dann ohne jegliche Benachrichtigung nicht weiterreisen konnte. Dementsprechend habe ich ca. 19h in Abu Dhabi verbracht und kam einen Tag später zuhause an, als geplant. Der Kundenservice war zudem absolut intransparent und hat versucht, die Schuld von sich zu weisen. Bisher ist auch noch keine Erstattung erfolgt (2 Monate später). Nie wieder!

"Errors from them with no resolve "

Absolute disgusting what is happening with our flights at the moment, we went with Etihad Airways (a more expensive option) as they have a good reputation but what is happening to us is ridiculous 😡. We have booked a return flight to Thailand for November and a week after booking ( in June) we noticed a slight misspelling of a surname on one of us (3 of us going). We phoned up and had this changed no problem (or so we thought). A week later we had an updated itinerary through and 1 of the flights have been removed (abu Dhabi - Thailand). All of the others are still fine and correct. Upon calling Etihad to see what has happened they said it needs to be investigated and would take up to a month. We are now 2 and a half months down the line with numerous calls to Etihad and constantly being fobbed off. We have had no confirmation of this booking actually being sorted. Disgusting service and am very shocked from an airline if your apparent standard!

"I would give zero stars if I could"

I would give zero stars were it an option,
as their call centre staff either don't know what they are talking about, dint care or intentionally give false information.
They managed to book me and my 13 year old daughter on seperate flights to Australia from London and charged an extra fee too! Then couldn't get us on the same flights and wouldn't cancel them.
I downloaded the app, cancelled online on the day we were due to fly and rebooked with BA. They gave me a refund of less than £2000 for tickets that had cost £4800.
Thankfully the credit company managed to get the rest back but the moralnof this story? I would rather swim the shark infested oceans to Australia than ever contemplate an Etihad flight again.
Unsurprisingly, I've now spoken to others at work who have had the same experience with them. You've been warned!

"Disappointing Etihad experience"

We were extremely disappointed by Etihad all around! Their service was mediocre for a company that prides itself for excellence! We travelled from Dublin to Seoul, with a stop over in Abu Dhabi, both to and fro. On the way to Seoul, we had to fly some 15 hours on planes which offered little more comfort, if that, as a Ryanair plane, except that Ryanair prides itself to offer a highly straight-forward, low cost and reliable service, all of which it does (and I love my Ryanair trans-European flights). Both to and from Seoul we were freezing; on the way back I asked multiple times for the air con to be reduced and it took 3 hours for them to do so, not once did the crew even offer extra blankets to anyone. One passenger got quite sick on board and none of the crew members offered to place her somewhere more comfortable, nor did they check on her. We did as we sat near her. The food was disappointing both ways, very soggy and tasteless, except for a couple of times when dessert was actually good. When queuing at Seoul airport, there was a lady with two small kids, a baby and a toddler, the baby was crying and people in the queue were quite good in letting her pass before them until one of the hostesses told her to remain in her place in the queue!! That hostess was plain abrupt and disrespectful. This gave us a flavour of what the inflight crew was going to be like, unfriendly, abrupt, and borderline rude, maybe because most of us were travelling economy! Our experience of Etihad is that this airline treats people travelling Economy like cattle!! I will refrain from travelling with them if I can. The choice of onboard entertainment was also quite poor! Another thing to point out is that we had booked our flights in November 2023 and travelled to Seoul of June 2024. During that time, Etihad sent us well over a dozen time changes it was stressful. Just before flying out, Etihad just informed us that our return flights had been cancelled!! We had to rebook the whole flight (Seoul-Abu Dhabi-Dublin) and did not get refunded for our hotel in Abu Dhabi which we lost since our flight was cancelled, as we no longer had the 17 hour layover. Luckily we managed to extend our stay in our hotel in Seoul where they kindly charged us the two extra days in July at the same price we had originally paid when reserving in April. Lastly, their app is poorly designed and far from user-friendly and buying your seat on the plane is pure extortion! Etihad! Worst airline we ever travelled with!!

"Flug nach 10 Tagen umgebucht "

Ich habe erfolgreich einen Flug nach Bangkok gebucht für Dezember 2024, so dass ich diesen genau in meinem vom Chef genehmigten Urlaub nehmen kann.
Die Buchung wurde bestätigt.
Daraufhin habe ich meinen Reiseplan Stück für Stück vervollständigt, d.h. ich habe innerhalb von Südostasien diverse Flüge mit anderen Airlines und Hotels gebucht.
Etwa 10 Tage später wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass sich mein Flug um 24 Stunden verschoben hat.
Ich konnte zwar umbuchen, das hätte mich für den geplanten Tag aber 300 Euro Aufpreis gekostet.
Die Airline interessiert sich nicht, ob man Reisepläne auf einem beständigten Flug aufbaut und danach seinen Urlaub plant.
Es ist einfach nur eine Frechheit.

"Etihad Airways - Bitte keine Hotels buchen!"

Begehen Sie nicht den Fehler und buchen Sie Hotels über Etihad. Ich habe über Etihad Airways Hotels gebucht. Buchungscode EYH...Wenn Sie dann Rückfragen haben oder ein Problem aufkommt gibt es keinen satisfaktionsfähigen Ansprechpartner. Etihad Holidays ist nicht zuständig da Etihad-Airways-Buchung, Etihad Airways Hotlines sind nur zuständig für Flüge...Single Point of Contact für Kunden gibt es nicht. Die Linke Hand weiß nicht was die Rechte macht. Werde zukünftig Hotel nur noch direkt buchen. Übrigens analog Stop Over, wenn Sie hier eine Änderung machen wollen, vergessen Sie es.

"Greedy and unsuportive"

Booked flights early in advance this year, for a specific price. A few days before the trip, they cancelled my whole reservation without further explanation. But if I search for flights on those same dates, they exist. Because they decided that they could sell those ticket flights for double the price.

Waiting for the refund and they state they might not refund the insurance? Which I paid extra precisely because of these issues? I'm done.
