We have now had our bed for a month and are extremely pleased. We continue to receive a wonderful night's sleep EVERY night.
To finish my earlier review with Assembly and Tips:
ASSEMBLING: We installed the Personal Comfort mattress on our existing box springs. A small assembly booklet was included with the shipment. The booklet contains a good abbreviated version of assembly steps. Keep the booklet for your records as it also contains an excellent list of troubleshooting procedures at the end. Because the booklet instructions are brief, I recommend you review the following instructional videos prior to receiving the mattress and have the first one handy for reference during assembly. We referred to them at many intervals for demonstration of important details.

It took about 2 hours for my wife and I to complete assembly since we were methodical and careful. (We unpackaged most components in advance the day before.)
TIPS:
>The shipping label on the unopened box might just list "1 Controller" but will actually include the air controller and 2 remotes.
>Take extra care in removing the shrink wrap and opening the plastic bags protecting components such as foam layers and air chambers.
>Unpack and lay out on a flat surface all the expandable components such as air chambers (to air out) and the various foam layers at least an hour before assembly.
>Review instructional videos in advance of assembly.
>Review and reread detailed instructions especially as you complete each level/layer and if you are unsure exactly how/where to install a particular component.
>The center panel is completely zipped to the top panel (white "quilted" layer) so make sure you unwrap the top panel and completely unzip center panel from the top panel before wondering where the center panel is when you arrive at that step.
>Check to ensure zipper connections line up as you install any layers that will later be zipped to another layer.
>Carefully route hoses and cords from the air controller (pump) to the air chambers to avoid tangles and maximize lengths of the wired remotes and hoses. This will allow for more flexibility in placing the air controller and wired remotes.
>Remember that ONE air chamber will fill up THEN the second air chamber, so as not to think there is a defect in the still uninflated second air chamber.

"This bed is a total gimmick"

This bed is a total gimmick. We hated it from the first night. We have a sleep number bed in our house and have had it for five years with no problems very comfortable. We bought Personal comfort because they claimed to be just like sleep number but less money. We have now slept on this bed in our second home for two months and are extremely disappointed. The bed is a total gimmick. The sleep tracker that you slip under your sheet is a joke. Sleep number has it embedded into the bed. I slept 2 hours one night it gave me 97 score. I had a terrible nights sleep another night tossed and turned and I got a 90. We tried reaching out to explain how unhappy we were and they will not return our phone calls. Said they have a 120 night trial but no one will call us. Do not buy this overpriced piece of junk

We wound up dealing with several different reps but each one was personable and wanted to make their customer happy. When they had supply issues, they called and upgraded part of our cover in order to meet their agreed upon timeline.

"Do not be fooled"

Do not be fooled. They say "you have nothing to loose, it's returnable" but they are lying. I bought two of these beds. One for my elderly mom who was recovering from a hip surgery and one for my husband and I. My mom has fallen out of the bed 4 times due to a crease in the bed that draws her to the end of the bed. I have back problems and made it perfectly clear that I needed a firm bed for comfort. I have never been so sore in my life. I have contacted them multiple times. Left messages for the manager Jason who never returned my calls. They have been emailing me back and forth and now all of a sudden the frames are not returnable (per the response I got from them." This was not told to me when I was buying the beds. I cannot believe they think their customer service is good when I have an elderly mom who I never know when will be on the ground due to this "joke" of a bed. Don't buy something you cannot test and do not believe what they tell you.
