"Very tricky prepaid card, Avoid!"

I lost my Wirecard prepaid card and called customer service. I was told the card had been expired. I haven't used it and it's expired so soon. Big suprise.

It is a sincere request to everyone especially in Europe, UK and other countries where it is used (and please spread the word around as well) - never ever use Wirecard and never accept any payments from any entity in the form of any products from Wirecard...they are the worst of all and their sole source of income is charging money wrongfully from your accounts....and hopelessly rubbish but yet shockingly rude and arrogant customer service - people who absolutely do not value your money at all!! Shame on you Wirecard!!!

prepaid card funds must be good for at least five years under federal law. I have balance on the card and they refused to issue me a replacement card nor a check for the balance. will never use the card again.

"Very difficult to set up user and…"

Very difficult to set up user and password on the website. Entirely too many fees. Charge a fee to transfer my money from the card to my bank account!
Called 5 times and got 5 different answers. Told on the phone to use an ATM that has moneypass logo to access cash. Found at a local bank. Went to ATM and "transaction not allowed at this location". Would not recommend using this company. Talk to the company that sent you the card and explain your situation so this does not continue to happen to other people. Hopefully this card will work with everyday purchases but based on what I have read I have doubts!

"Refund never received and WireCard takes no responsibility"

I was issued a wirecard prepaid card from Frontier Communications after I ended the service in July 2017. I never received a refund, but only to find out that it was issued through a prepaid card and the card was fraudulently used. I called to follow up with Frontier and Wirecard, and was sent a Fraud Application, only to be denied because of their deadline. As told by their supervisor Joe (emp ID 8444754) on 10/16/2018, it was their company policy that once the fraud application was denied (based on deadline), there is NOTHING they can do about. Through my communication with Wirecard (May 29, 2018, July 26, 2018), no one of their representative had informed me about the deadline and followed through with sending me the fraud application. Irresponsible merchant, that does not take into consideration of it's clients.

"WIRECARD is not secure from fraud and refused to refund a stolen card."

I received a prepaid card through Isuzu Truck sales from this company. Since I did not "need " the money right then I placed the unactivated card in my desk. After a few months I had a project for which I wanted to use the prepaid Wirecard. I was unable to find the card and called to get a replacement. I was informed that the card had been used and there were no funds left available. I was issued a new card which has no money on it and was given instructions for filing a fraud claim. after doing so I received a letter from them stating that due the time passed since the charges, there was no recourse for them to recover and credit from the merchants. I called again and was told there is nothing they can do. One of the charges was on amazon.com who was willing to help me investigate the charges if I had the full card number. Wirecard tells me that there is no one who can provide me with this information. the fraud dept. does not take calls. So their system for ensuring the cardholder is the one who uses the card is NOT secure or safe. My card was never activated by me and the entire $500 was spent. Wirecard accepts NO liability and wont credit back fraudulent charges unless they can pass it along to a merchant. They have offered no means to resolve this and they accept no fault that anyone can activate and use their card. I Strongly urge Isuzu Northamerica and any company using or contemplating the use of Wirecard to find a new and more secure company to handle sales incentives sent out on prepaid cards if you care about your employess and salesepeople. the parties at Isuzu Northamerica that handle the prepaid card incentives WILL receive a copy of this review directly from me.

I've used various pre-paid visa/mastercards over the past several years, but I have to say that Wirecard is the absolute worst by far. If you have any choice at all about it, stay as far away from Wirecard as possible. I used the Citi card for years with not one problem, as soon as the switched over to Wirecard, there have been nothing but problems. Customer service is incompetent and some of the answers that I have received from them were just plain stupid. I have had too many issues with them to even begin to list them here, but I will list the latest crap that they are trying to pull now just so you can see what kind of crap they pull constantly.
When I check my card balance online, it tells me that I have a positive balance. When I try and use that balance, the transaction is denied. When I called customer service to find out what's going on with MY money, I was told that Circle K canceled a transaction on my card like a week ago. No money was transferred, nothing exchanged hands, just a transaction was canceled before it was completed. Now, Wirecard is trying to tell me that because this transaction was canceled, that the transaction amount is unavailable. Please understand what I'm saying. They have my money, no one has placed a hold for any amount of money on my card, Wirecard never paid anyone anything, but they are saying that somehow MY money is unavailable. Wirecard is a scam, their business practices are fraud.

Hate this card! I've never used a card where you have to pay to use your money or pay to take out your money it just don't make sense all the money they charge adds up

"Wirecard Stinks"

Wirecard Stinks. I donate plasma and the company switched from Citi to this crappy Wirecard co. I cannot get cashback as I always have in the past. This is OVER $300 per month on the card and yes, while I can pay bills buy gas or shop online, I like to get an occasional $20 cash back and the EXTREMELY RUDE WIRECARD CSR inforned me that for the foreseeable future, Octapharma donors won't have the cashback option THAT IS IN OUR CARD AGREEMENTS.
