"Very Poor Customer Service & Response Time"

Very Poor Customer Service & Response Time. Very poor email response. Waiting years for my items and when I email, I wait days if not weeks for a response and then it is just a runaround. I hae been trying to get a refund for months and they just keep giving me one excuse after another. It appears to have all the makings of a pyramid scheme.

I have been waiting for about 6 years for the promised product.

They get you to give them a 5 * review and promise a wall charger for your review. During the process of entering details for the wall charger you are up sold all the other products you saw in the promotional video that lasted hours.

Magfast is a nothing and all the subsequent products should never have been allowed to be marketed until the existing orders for initial products had been filled.

Like I said years ago by the time any of their chargers would be available every other company that actually makes products will have made something as good or better for cheaper.
That would be the case now.

Their further sham reply to this review is typical of the "company".
The only reason they have a high review rating is that they got you to give them a 5 star in return for a product that has never materialized!

No refund, which should definitely be the case, instead "magbucks" what an embarrassment. Just trying to milk people for more money all the while sending people around the world on our dime.
I have never got my initial order and have had zero personal related contact in the many, many years.

There are lots of other well known trusted companies out there to spend your hard earned money on. So my best advice is to give this one a wide berth!

"STAY AWAY FROM MAGFAST"

I did a pre-order in February of 2021. As of today I still do not have my product. I was told I was in batch 27, which they decided as of batch 26 not to fulfill anymore orders. I was later told I would get double the store credit of my purchase for Magfast, but now their ideas and tech is outdated and I can find the same things they offered for much cheaper off Amazon. I was told I cannot get a refund either. Seymour Segnit gives excuse after excuse for why he doesn’t deliver on ANYTHING but keeps asking people to invest. He’s a scam artist, plain and simple.

"Terrible follow through"

This company has a terrific sounding warranty--on paper. But good luck getting them to replace your defective product. It took 3 weeks to get an initial response and a new cable STILL isn't on the way, despite providing an order number and other required information. They suggested that maybe my phone needs to be replaced, rather than their defective cable.

EDIT: The MAGBUCK vouchers are nothing more than coupons--nothing can be purchased without sending you more money. And even the roll out of the vouchers was delayed repeatedly and not on time.

EDIT: The correct cable finally did arrive, weeks after my initial contact about the warranty claim. And this is the question support asked regarding replacing my phone: “Is it time to upgrade your phone?”

"Yours May Never Arrive, But Maybe That's For the Best"

I ordered the full kit of chargers in March 2019.
Waited through all of the delays and scope creep and excuses and delays and delays. I'd presumed that it wasn't legitimate and chocked up the $654 as lost. Yeah, $650 for phone charger stuff.
They hounded people to buy more, to buy stock, to give them more money, frequently.
In November of 2023, I got notice that my batch was finally getting close to shipping, but that it would only have 3 of the 6 items until they finished DESIGN of the last items, and the rest would ship separately.
The package shipped a few days later.
I got it, nice packaging. I plugged the two bits in to charge that needed it (the third is essentially an adapter that's useless until the Wall ships.

The very first time I set my phone onto the Life charger, it heated up so much the plastic case of the charger started to MELT.

There's no way I'm putting anything on the bigger charger after that. Definitely not going to try and jump start a car with that thing, either.

I still have everything, probably because I don't want to throw away $654, but I guess that I actually did that way back in 2019.

Now, they sent an e-mail that they are going to give me some kind of store credit, but not for a couple of weeks. No explanation of WHY I'm getting a store credit, but suffice it to say that I will NOT be using it on more over-priced merchandise of suspect quality that wasn't cutting edge 5 years ago, and is only even more overpriced now.

I finally located my receipt.

Very pissed would love to give a negative star rating.
this is a total scam, they promise cutting edge tech sell it to you never deliver the want you to pay more for new cutting edge tech after what you still haven't received has become obsolete.

I only rate one star because I can't select zero. I don't know where all these positive reviews are coming from, because I placed an order (and paid!) in 2019. Yes, FIVE YEARS ago! And all I've received is empty promises and glowing comments about great new developments.

Well I have had stuff on order since 2021 and still haven't received it. And the one this I got that was a magfast extreme is defective and can barely charge my phone . I have sent numerous emails and no response. Tried their phone line and it's forever hold.

They need to work on completing the orders that people placed 3,4 years ago, instead of spending valuable resources coming up with new items that you cannot delivery in a timely mater.

Paid over 400.00 in a kickstarter in 2019, it’s mid 2024 and I’ve received NOTHING. Last email I got regarding me and my shipping “batch” was in 2021 and was told that my shipment would be “soon”… 3 years ago…
I’m STILL getting emails and texts wanting to sell me more stuff or wanting more money BUT still haven’t seen the products I paid several hundred dollars for. I have asked for a refund.


In response to Magfast’s response. I do not want any vouchers. I want my money back. It is absolutely ridiculous for me to pay over 400 dollars for products that you no longer offer (keep in mind I paid IN FULL for a complete package) only to receive what amounts to 50% off coupons worth 800 dollars for a company that is only selling charging cables. Why on earth would I want to put MORE money into this company that never supplied what I paid for in the first place? It absolutely insulting that anyone would think that is a reasonable response to a request for my money back. You do not have or offer the products I paid for, I don’t want $800.00 worth of 50% off coupons for your $40.00 charging cables. This is bordering on a scam. It is not my fault that your company never fulfilled my order and I should not have to put more money into buying products I don’t want.
