No other trading platform offers so much for the trader developer. NT8's Architecture allowing access to any connected API without the hassle of coding for each api and you don't need to buy or lease that api separately which saves $1000s per month on API fees. The account object allows you do this - you could also just use the convenience layers provided for fast prototyping strategies - that would suit most. The charting indicator system is the best on the market for desktop. Execution is very fast. This free trading platform allows you to do what only an extremely expensive setup in a fund would have the budget.

"ninja melt down"
Ninja on nov 1 2022 started a new client portal. its a new day and a new dawn. there is no linking old accounts, no transfer of documents, statements, cash balances. they promise the information would migrate over. it didnt. email support is hugely lacking and very slow. im two days into a string of questions and information provided and the only response i have indicates they didnt understand a single thing i said and i got a reply "you must fund your account before you trade". while my account has been funded for 3 years...
the phone line queue must be huge as i have been on hold for 2 hours. nothing yet. ninja is melting down. beware.
now 4 hours on hold. this appears to be a self inflicted wound on ninja's part reading down thru the reviews. i will start looking for a new broker. lots of good things from TDA.

The company was obviously undergoing some significant technical problems and I had a lot of trouble getting the help i needed. I finally got in touch with Cynthia M. in client services and she was able to resolve a very complex problem that i wasn't sure could be resolved and she did it in record time. Outstanding job Cynthia!!! Thank you.

The support is very copy paste. I'm having trouble logging into the new portal from desktop after creating new credentials and the tech suggested creating new credentials..

I have been unable to connect with ANYBODY to help me. (who BTW is also impossible to reach) gave the phone # of . I've called that number over and over and no one ever answers the phone! I'm simply trying to get into my account, but my user ID and pssword don't work; and resetting it doesn't work either! Again, no help anywhere. I'm beginning to wish I'd never opened the account.

Nija Trader's Platform is definitely unreliable at times. It freezes at times when you are exiting positions causing you to loose money.

I don't like the fact that your system is not in real time. It seems so lag quite a bit, which, in such a volatile market, it can make the difference of a gain or a loss. Sometimes, the market blows right through a stop loss and closes several minutes later or will not enter a trade at a designated entry point.
