Received my order fairly quickly, but I never received an invoice, tracking number or order confirmation.

I ordered back in December on an item shown in stock and the website also says that it ships next day after payment. I complained to MaxLift/Danmar and received a reply from Bradley Melson, with them.
Here is his reply and my translation and comment to both points:
“Sorry about the confusion,
I’m not sure what the delay was with updating the website.
I happened to notice your order was placed and took it upon myself to reach out to you in case you were unaware. “
-Unaware of what? That I ordered the darn thing? Or that there was a delay WHICH IS WHY I REACHED OUT IN THE FIRST PLACE! Or Hooray you updated your website after you angered at least one customer. Bully for you.
“I did comb through the website and it does state there is no guarantee on shipping.”
- Translation: sucker! You should know you should never trust us because we’ll just bury “no guarantee” somewhere and weasel out of it, and then when you complain about our word not meaning anything we’ll “comb through our own website to find where we hid it. It’s hidden so well we even have to do this!”
If you don’t mean it, don’t say it, and then you don’t have to hide “no guarantees” for anything you do, or actually say but won’t actually do or however else you wish to put... weaseling out of it.
I apologize to all weasels, and none were harmed in writing this review.
But as far as it not showing “out of stock”
That was on us. And for that I apologize. I am told that the website should reflect the stock now.
- That would be a fine response. I don’t expect most average businesses these days to pay for their mistakes like I do in my own highly successful business. That’s why they are average or below and will stay that way.
Better would be “sorry we’ll fix it and knock x% off your order”
x= I don’t care how much, because I have no complaints about that, but money talks and MaxJack walks.

-It is now February 14, Valentines Day (and yes I have a hot babe Valentine, my wonderful wife of 22 years of marriage...sorry I had to throw that in) and I have not heard from Bradley who was going to update me according to his December 26 email!

Woo hoo! You guys are on top of it. I cannot wait until your books come out upending Peter Drucker, and ISO 9001. Way to go. Dude get the company at least up to the early 90’s with iso9001 Quality Management System and become customer focused.
No charge for that, but “no guarantees”!
Bradley did reply to me just now, but I should not have to contact him. YOU ALWAYS contact the customer first ESPECIALLY when there is a problem. I also had to make the initial contact as no one told me my order would be delayed, so after I paid for it and I didn’t get a shipping or tracking email, and it wasn’t on the website after a few days on an item supposed to ship next day in stock, I had to reach out to them!
Maximum fail!

I bought anchors and a lift through eBay. Both showed to be in stock. When neither item showed to have shipped 5 days later, I emailed the company. That's when I was notified that the lift was in back order for another 5 weeks. The anchors dis ship out 8 days after I ordered and paid, but they did not have bolts. I emailed the company asking why there were no bolts for anchors. I have not heard back from MaxJax yet.

Rep was easy and pleasure to work with. The lift I'm interested in is on backorder but hopefully will release soon. Overall a good experience. Looking forward to the new lift!
