Would just like to give an acknowledgement to Protec. We have a full cover to use over winter and it has been really great. Unfortunately our dealer, whilst doing a repair, ripped a hole in it!! 'Shall we remove the cover while you do this work? No sir, it won't cause a problem, you can leave it on', sadly that was not the case!

Anyway, contacted Protec to arrange a repair, the price quoted was excellent they arranged collection the next day, repair took 5 days and the cover was returned by courier.

Amazing customer service and an excellent repair done. If only our caravan dealer was a quarter as good!!!

"Protec Full Cover"

Having ordered a full cover at the Caravan Show it arrived well packaged and on time. Unfortunately due to a slight mix up on measurements the clear roof for the solar panel was in the wrong place. No problem for Protec, they arranged for it to be collected and very soon it was back. Great service and communication all the way.
The cover fits fantastically, the roll up back panel makes fitting really easy, a great idea!
Quality of the cover is exceptionally good, and although purchased for its practicality, it looks great too!
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this cover

"The ability to sort out problems …"

A quick update to the text below. A senior employee of the Company contacted me having read the earlier, unflattering review and has offered a very comprehensive fix to the problem. Not so run-of-the-mill clearly. Hence my uprated review. The first review read as follows:
The ability to sort out problems efficiently is what distinguishes a good company from the run-of-the-mill. So, after ordering my first cover some years ago I found that the caravan's non-removable flue (chimney to most people) cut a hole in the cover. So I took the cover to a local professional cover maker who fitted a sock to accommodate the flue. All well. When that cover wore out (no complaints, it had performed well) I ordered another. Talking to the company I thought, from the way they were talking, that the earlier 'flue cuts hole in cover' problem would not be repeated this time round. But no. Sadly they have not done anything to prevent the same thing happening again. The caravan is not so unusual either (an Eriba). Will I order another? The jury is out.

"Bought a towing cover for my Swift 564"

Bought a towing cover for my Swift 564, to be shipped to Australia.
The service and advice leading to the purchase was very good, however my only comment would be the excessive cost of shipment to me in Australia, GBP190.00.
I requested they ship it to a colleague in Scotland (included in the purchase price) and he shipped it to me, by air freight, for GBP40.66 including insurance.
Cover arrived after 10 days - excellent.
Comment: Please review your overseas shipping contractor.
Apart from that very happy with the product and service provided by Protec.

We have found Protec's covers to be of good quality and excellent for protection from the weather. Ordering from Protec is straightforward and the covers have always been delivered within the timescale given.

What a product , this is the second one I've bought , I got maximum price on my caravan because I used a protec cover when towing so got another for my new caravan

"Protec towing cover"

This is my second towing cover as I gave the other away with my last caravan. When I got a new caravan I purchased a cheaper cover on EBay big mistake as it was rubbish so I have again got a Protec cover although more expensive I know that the fit and quality are excellent. Would not hesitate to recommend the cover.

It seems a shame that some customers have given a poor rating.
I am a returning customer having reordered a new tow cover last year and can say that the quality is superb. unfortunately one of the buckles had snapped. Being in Bradford on business and to "kill two birds with one stone", I called into the factory to leave it for repair. I was asked to wait and in less than 10 minutes the repair was done. I ordered a tow cover for my friend whilst there yesterday, 30th January 2018 and received a text this morning to inform me it will be delivered tomorrow 1st February.
What a fantastic service!!! Keep producing the goods Protec and thank you.
