"DO NOT BUY"

DO NOT BUY. My son ordered a pair of boots before Xmas and they never arrived. He was told they’d gone to a different address, miles from his home. Since then he has tried multiple times to contact them but they ignore him. Shocking. Unfortunately I am unable to give no stars, one is extremely generous. So I repeat DO NOT BUY FROM Dubarry of Ireland.

I’d had my eye on a pair of boots for ages so was thrilled when I saw them on sale. Despatch was quick and I was so excited about the parcel arriving only for my high hopes to crash with a loud bang. I could see that the boots were HUGE even before trying them on. I had to pay to return them as their favoured courier only insured them for £50. What’s the point in that! No response to my emails until too late. So after receiving rubbish boots and rubbish service sadly I won’t be buying my 3rd pair of Dubarry boots - ever! Thumbs down to them!

I purchased two pairs of Dubarry boots in September last year. One of the pairs let water in and having only been put on twice I sent them back to Dubarry. They received these in December 2020. After email upon email and Debbie of Customer Services in Chipping Norton promising to return my calls hence not returned, it is now February 2021 still no boots and I have now instructed Solictor to issue proceedings DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

As with all but one review what an awful company. It is the lack of communication. Covid and Brexit excuses do not cut the mustard. Other companies are functioning properly. They have £349 of my money and I have no boots. I want my money back.

I am politely requesting Dubarry to pay import payment charges as they agreed on 27.01.21. DPD will hold parcel for 3 days before returning to you.
Failing this would you please refund my credit card.
Sorry to leave this review but other forms of communication are failing

Dubarry did pay the import charges & the order eventually arrived.
The quality & fit of the garment is excellent.
I understand issues around import duties at that time.
My only complaint was communication keeping customers up dated with the issues at that time

If I could have given zero stars I would have. Still waiting for my boots two months later. Impossible to speak to anyone. Disgraceful customer service.

Still waiting for our order 2 months later, no communication from the customer service team. Dubarry have a cheek calling themselves a luxury brand, disgraceful company avoid at all costs.

OMG - I wish I had read all of these reviews before I had ordered my boots. Paid £300 and still waiting. Customer service non existent. Generic email sent last week to customers but what a load of rubbish that was. I was able to leave comments on Instagram but they have now turned the comments off so you can’t leave any negative remarks. I too am asking for my credit card company to seek refund. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! They take your money and don’t deliver the goods. If they were that concerned about customers they would have responded to emails. MANAGEMENT DONT CARE. AVOID, AVOID AVOID!!!!!!

So disappointed. Order placed before Christmas before UK left Europe. Notified after Bexit item with DPD but told needed to pay duty which I declined. Items then automatically returned. Emailed Dubarry four times to date asking for refund. No response. Sure we all received email from MD with generic apology but customer service still non existent. Never again will order from Company. Just want my money back. Jean
