"Worthless"

Worthless. Pompous doctor. Wasn't interested in listening to my issue or to provide any medical advice or alternative.

Won't be using this again or recommending it to my 350 employees.

"Deceptive description on their site"

Deceptive description on their site. I needed to see a dermatologist, and all the local docs were weeks out to get an appt. My insurance works with MDLIve and suggested them. Their Website claims that after I pay and submit my photos and description, I'll "receive a treatment plan with prescriptions within 72 hours." So I paid my $90 co-pay, uploaded my photos, and then received a reply "you need to see a doctor, no treatment plan (except we're referring you to see a doc in person, duh) we're keeping your $90". I asked for a refund and never received a reply.

"I've used MD Live in the past and for…"

I've used MD Live in the past and for the most part it's been fine. About 3 times a year I get a severe sinus infection that requires antibiotics. The doctor at MD Live was rude, aggressive, indifferent, spoke over me, said I "didn't meet the criteria" for a sinus infection. Basically, I was wasting his time. When I told him that in addition to other home remedies I took Sudafed, he replied with "you realize Sudafed is used to make methamphetamines." Insinuating that perhaps I was a user. I was so shocked after being spoken to in that way, and then to be accused of drug addiction, that I never said another word. I tried to contact customer service, but to no avail. As they say at the beginning the call "this call is recorded." I certainly hope they are listening, because I was.

"don’t use or pay - unless it’s free"

Have used a few times - free through my insurance plan. Absolutely horrible every time. The scheduling request system errors consistently. I’ve had one or two okay experiences. Otherwise, I’ve had horrible and time wasting experiences. They don’t really listen. They especially do not know how to prescribe basic antibiotics, or other very basic medications. Working in EMS Rescue, I give myself better care. Do not recommend if you have to pay.

"Horrible experience"

Horrible experience with "Dr. Onyinye Ugboaja". She constantly interrupted me, has too thick of an accent to be understood over the phone, and refused to refill a non-controlled medication. All she told me was I need to see my doctor, which of course I can't get into and defeats the purpose of paying for the call.

"It's pretty ok."

For the most part I like MD live for things that I could go to my pcp or urgent care. Except the last visit. I was bitten by a kitten. There was no rash, etc. All I needed was a prophylactic antibiotic because their bites pretty much close quickly and can result in an infection that a person isn't aware of. It's pretty ridiculous especially with uploading a picture to show the injury site. I was told to go to an... ER or Urgent Care. Seriously? In Philly? For a cat bite that doesn't show signs of infection to get something that should be something to get easily? (The doctor was like I'm not losing my job for this. And this was after he out me on hold to pick up his other line. I wasn't arguing with him etc. )

Like this is stupid.

"Lots of technical glitches"

Lots of technical glitches. I've used video telehealth for years on same PC but would not work in MD Live and the therapist confirmed it's wonky. They send you confirmations to confirm your session then when you click to confirm it says the appointment does not exist and since you did not confirm, the appt is cancelled. If you go through Cigna that adds another level of disconnect, as confirmed by the rep I just spoke to ("Rayna.")

"therapist Eileen Clark very unprofessional"

Spoke to therapist Eileen Clark in one session. She recommended a website which turned out to be some podcasts and a book for sale. She made an appointment for another session and then canceled it. When I asked mdlive what happened, they said " she didn't think I was a good fit". So I got dumped by a therapist. I was willing
to give her more time to see if it worked out. Very unprofessional! Regarding mdlive reply: I did contact them before I wrote the review. I just got the " sorry for your inconvenience" line.

"I am so tired of this company"

I am so tired of this company. Telemedicine is supposed to make things easier but it is always the same thing, charge money and send to "in-person" doctor. Every single doctor I have ever talked to is rude as well. Don't waste your money, just go to Instacare in your town.

"I got the appointment quickly"

I got the appointment quickly, but Dr. Snipes spoke with me for five minutes and determined I was there for narcotics, on the wrong meds without knowing the reason I was taking them. Also, Ive been on disability since 2011 after driving up on my child's wreck and he was dead. I have seen many psychiatrists and had many hospitalizations over the years, and all doctors along with ss disability determined I was disabled. This Dr. Snipes knew me for five minutes and told me I needed new meds and I needed to get a job and get some structure. He can't tell me about me or my life. He was rude, cold, and insensitive, so I hung up on him!! In addition, it has to be said, I got your email asking me to email md live per their request. That was a joke too. That email is invalid, go figure. There's nothing they can do to change the already detrimental experience I had with that person that refers to himself as a psychiatrist. Let me teach him something before he perpetuates the f#@$&d up mind of somebody else. I was looking so forward to just saying how I feel and why I was crying all the time. Until you have seen one child dead and another one emotionally dead to you, then maybe u might know something about me. You don't know what kind of work I did or what kind of degrees I have or the hell I have lived through for 21 years, and until you do , you keep your lame ass judgements, diagnosis, suggestions, or whatever the hell else you wanna call them to yourself. I wonder how many people have blown their damn heads off on your watch.
