"Fraudulent company"
1 star for the good experience with the doctors. Zero stars for them billing incorrectly and making it a nightmare to get the money refunded. I overpaid them $171. I called and got the run around, after waiting for an extremely long time to speak to someone. I called my insurance company and they called them. After waiting an extremely long time on the phone, they got it resolved, or so they were told, and were told that they would refund me my $171 within in 45 business days, which equates to over 2 months. I waited the 45 business days and still never received my refund, nor any correspondence from them. Called them back with my insurance company on the phone and they are investigating the issue. Their tactic is to make it as difficult and frustrating as possible, so you will give up and they can keep your money. Something smells fraudulent to me. MdLive, please so don't respond with a message to email letushelp at MDLive, because that is a joke. If you respond, please respond with an explanation as to why you steal from your clients.

"COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME"
It's impossible to schedule appointments, and there is a complete absence of communication. I had attempted to make an appointment for counseling. The day after I made the "request," I checked, and even the request was missing. I called and was told the appointment had been cancelled. Considering the best time frame I could get for an appointment was "morning," I would have stayed home for NOTHING because this corporation cancels appointments and doesn't let anyone know. This is so typical of corporatized medicine.

"I tried mdlive because I have trouble…"
I tried mdlive because I have trouble getting to appointments during normal office hours and haven't had a primary care physician in about 20 years. I simply wanted to get on meds for my high blood pressure but instead I was told to go to the ER. Complete waste of time and money.

"Horrible service"
Horrible service. I had an appointment yesterday...waited for one hour for the video conference and suddenly AFTER one hour, the appointment was cancelled. Rescheduled for today AGAIN and AGAIN appointment was cancelled without notice. Schedule an urgent care appointment just to get lab orders since scheduling an appointment is worthless because they get cancelled without notice. Had that appointment and the physician did not put the lab orders we discussed on my file. Can't speak with a supervisor and you are running in circles to just get basic medical care. It is really not worth it. Just go to a physical doctor instead.

"MDLIVE is a system that is predatory"
MDLIVE is a system that is predatory. They put no warning on the website that if you switch insurance that you will need to reregister. They hide behind practices that allow them to bill you and avoid insurance and pretend to be accommodating when you speak with them. If you can, travel to Urgent Care and see someone in person.
Today, I had a medical emergency and they have worked to ensure that my insurance is not billed and instead I pay the $82 out of pocket. $82 is not the issue. It is the issue that a system that is supposedly founded on helping people uses hidden clauses to trick people out of money. How is this at all fair.

"I went to MD live through my insurance…"
I went to MD live through my insurance company Cigna and due to having a pre-existing condition the doctor told me that she was not able to see me she would need to refer me to my primary care provider or urgent Care. She also told me that I would not be charged because she wasn't able to help me but that I needed to call Indy live to let them know so that they could reverse the charge. When I called MD live they stated that I didn't have to worry about anything that when the doctor finished with closing up the case it would be on there that I was referred out and I wouldn't be charged anyway. However I was charged, so not only did I pay for MD live but I also had to pay for urgent Care that day. I called MD live again and I was told that it would have to be reviewed and if a refund would be refunded then they would refund it but they couldn't even give me a turnaround time on the review process which I shouldn't even have to go through because I did what I was told in the first place. So now I'm waiting on a review with no time frame and no way of knowing when and if I get a refund refunded to me.

"Horrible! Just go to the doctor."
Let me start by saying I work nights and the provider called me within 5 minutes so that was nice. However he did not listen or really just didn't care at all. He spit out I'm calling in .... and you should go home and rest and see urgent care or your PCP to check you out. After telling me that I was thinking well what was the purpose of this If I have to be seen again tomorrow. When I looked up the medication it is prescription nasal spray which I cant even take because it causes migraines. What a waste! I have used Teledoc in the past and all of their providers were patient and understanding and it didn't seem like they were just in it to make a $. I am going to contact my insurance provider as well because I am not sure what they charge, but if they get a copy of that recorded call they won't pay it either.

"Double charging fixed by MDLIVE"
March 18th 2023: I just wanted to update my review, after filing complaint thru BBB, my complaint immediately addressed by MDLIVE billing department supervisor. My payment of $59 for on call dermatologist would be the only payment I am responsible.
Future services would be $90, since I have insurance thru Cigna.
Thanks to MDLIVE to address my complaint.
March 8th 2013: original complaint:
I contacted MDLIVE for Dermothologis on call serive for fixed price of $59 without involving Cigna (my health insurance). I agreed on one-time price without going thru my insurance.
I was truly happy with their services, I requested Lattise prescription, and I received my prescription on Feb 28th 2023. However, I received an email on March 6th 23, from Cigna my health care provider, there is additional claim filed by MDLIVE for my consultation/prescription on Feb 28th 2023.. I did not authorized this claim. I just want to warn others to know MDLIVE billing department charge every individual based on type of insurance they have on file.

"No fever, No meds?....."
I have used them many times in the past for myself and my son. Since covid it has been a train wreck. I called recently for myself, I personally felt I needed an antibiotic, I work in Healthcare myself. I sent pictures and when the Dr. Called me I gave symptoms and how long I had been dealing with them. I was told per the "guidelines". I didn't qualify for any meds. Mainly because I didn't have a fever. My situation could be viral, but honestly I had the same situation about 6 months ago, and was told the same thing. I ended up going to a local urgent care both time after the telemetry visit, and was prescribed an antibiotic for my symptoms and visual situation.
I personally think when a person is telling you that OTC meds are not working, and as well as self care help is not working. You should treat the patient and not follow the script.....not everyone have a fever with their symptoms. They have became a waste of time in my opinion, and I will probly will stop using them.
And from looking at the reviews it's a waste of time to email them, because they won't respond.
