"Refuses to be accountable to patients if it requires filling out paperwork"
While the service is convenient, and fast and helped me get treated for ADHD; the flat out refusal to allow their psychiatrist to fill out a simple medical form for my DOT physical stating what medications they have prescribed me, and wether I am currently stable or if I have restrictions preventing me from safely operating a CMV is really screwing me. Have possibly lost an employment opportunity and may loose my CDL as well because of the refusal. It is utterly irresponsible to refuse to fill out paper work for patients under their care. I will cease to continue using them and find a responsible practice going forward.

"A really bad insect bite"
My father had a really bad insect bite that has caused his leg to be swollen and red. He had this before a few months ago on another part of his body. We tried to go to a clinic near by, however with it being the holidays they were closed and other places around were already closed for the day. It was easy to input the necessary information for the doctor to have and easy to upload pictures so they can have it as a reference. I was given an estimated wait time of over an hour, however I received a call within 15 minutes! The Dr. was kind and informative. They were able to prescribe antibiotics and send them to the preferred pharmacy at the end of the call. I was able to pickup the antibiotics within the next hour! Highly reccomend using MDLIVE!

"Prepare to be impressed by MDLIVE"
I had such a great experience with MDLIVE that I felt compelled to post this review. A new job and new insurance coverage sent me searching for a new primary care provider, which proved difficult. Down to my last two weeks of medication, I signed up with MDLIVE and was able to get an appointment within two hours. A board-certified ED physician called me, did a quick safety assessment, and sent a refill prescription to my neighborhood pharmacy. Then he took the time to review MDLIVE primary care options and send in a referral. And all of this happened days before Christmas. Wow! MDLIVE impressed me on multiple fronts: The digital experience of signing up and scheduling an appointment was seamless. My physician was kind, efficient, and went out of his way to help me. Finally, the follow up communication with me and the pharmacy was excellent. I work in healthcare and understand all the things that are going wrong these days. My first experience with this service was flawless and I will choose an MDLIVE primary care physician.

"2 days in a row the doctor didn’t show…"
2 days in a row the doctor didn’t show up to my appointment. Waited on their customer service line for 30 minutes and nobody answered. Now their website login is broken.

"Absolutely terrible company do not use"
Absolutely terrible company do not use! They will tell you they take your insurance and will let you set up an account. Then later on after you have been seen, they will come back and tell you due to some kind of little intricacy they don’t take your insurance. Stay far away from this company, even if your insurance company tells you they will cover being seen by this Teladoc, do not use!
In my case, they told me they take my insurance, I gave them my member ID and group number, all of my info, and they said yes of course we take your insurance no problem. After I was saying, I got a message. Three days later telling me they cannot verify my insurance. I even had my own insurance reps reach out to them on two different conference calls. In the end due to the nature of my visit, they told me they do take my insurance, but not for the visit I went to them for. A total fraud, do not waste your time.

"I am shocked to see how many good…"
I am shocked to see how many good reviews this gets. I am new to these types of services and my Cigna insurance offers this. Seems like a great concept but this has been my experience: I booked a 12:30 appt and at 12:15 they sent an email telling me about my upcoming appt and to be ready. At 12:33 I get an email it's canceled. I have to call them and the hold time was about 15 mins. Agent reschedules for later in the day and then no one calls for the appt. Um? I look forward to the same canned response others have gotten and the opportunity to waste more time with their offer for me to email them. Like what are you going to after the fact? CIGNA YOU NEED TO PART WAYS WITH THIS SCAM.

"Denied treatment and a suspicious prescription"
I’ve called in the past a couple times for inflammation relief for my stomach (as I’ve had flare ups) and I was prescribed the same tapering dose of steroid medication without argument. I’ve gotten in a call from 2 providers today and they both denied the treatment for my flare up (matter a fact one of them tried prescribing me an doxycycline which isn’t for inflammation alone ..it’s an antibiotic). And I had to deny that as it doesn’t make any sense to take. And the next provider straight up denied me of any treatment. I’ll be going to a care now today instead.

"Pissed and overcharged! Worst service ever."
I had a phone visit on 11/19, and today, a month later, had $55 randomly taken out of my account. I have insurance, Cigna to be exact, so there is absolutely no reason why I was charged as if I don’t have insurance. My max copay should have been $20. Now, I have to waste my time disputing this charge with my bank. I have been on hold for hours trying to get this resolved. I do not recommend MDLive to anyone after this experience.
