"The worst experience"

The worst experience. I was talking with an excellent therapist for 30 minutes, then Spectrum shut off the internet in my neighborhood. I was not given any opportunity by MDLive to reconnect with the therapist, and customer service actually yelled at me several times stating that I had had no appointment. I have several emails reminding me of the appointment, but MDLive said it never existed. I was then sent an email saying I would be charged $50 for missing the appointment. Waited over 30 minutes for customer service, and then was told to write an email, then the email said to call back and request a supervisor, and the call agent did not want to put me through to the supervisor. Nightmare service.

Second experience on 12/20. I attempted a second meeting with the doctor. I was required to get a 'code' to verify my email. I began the request at 9:45am for the 10am appointment, and am still on hold at 10:06. The code never arrived after several email requests and I was barred from the appoiontment. If I am charged a $50 fee then I am filing for fraud.

"Had a virus/flu"

Had a virus/flu, was having trouble with my airway becoming too inflamed for me to catch my breath. Dr. would not give me any steroids or zpack which has always been standard practice when I have this problem and has always worked. Dr. told me to go to the emergency room if I was having trouble breathing..gee thanks, real caring. This is exactly what I was trying to avoid.

"Avoid Gregg Kling and MD live"

This place is a joke. I have been waiting for 2 days for an appointment. I get the appointment and the "doctor" won't even help. My husband called the day before and he received help, and all I got was a waste of time. So beyond frustrated. The doctors (if you can even call them that) don't care and will not do anything to help you. Go anywhere but here if you want to actually have someone caring and competent to help you. If you must go here avoid Gregg Kling like the plaque. He can't call himself a doctor if he doesn't actually help anyone. He is a joke, and I am so frustrated. Now, I have to spend more time tomorrow going to the doctor's to get the help I should have gotten today.

"Appalling service and a complete scam"

Update: I am posting on all social media accounts I and my network of friends have so this reaches a larger audience.

Appalling service. During the phone triage I’m asked for my symptoms and I say I have a double ear infection. How do I know? I’ve had about 100 ear infections in my life. I just need a doctor to call in a script. Fine — $55 paid up front. Then Dr calls me after I’ve paid the money and immediately tells me they have policy that they don’t treat ear issues and I’ll need to be seen by a doctor. What an absolute scam. If this is the “policy” you have then tell me at triage.

"Doctors will miss appointments and prescribe the wrong meds."

Made 2 appointments and the doctor missed both of them... But MDLive will send you an automated message to say you missed it and that you will have to reschedule. On top of that, once able to get in touch with a doctor, they sent the wrong prescription to my pharmacy. So this service is essentially useless. A huge waste of time, and in the end you're left with no cure. Truly an embarrassment to the medical community and should be shut down as it looks like some sort of more serious negligence is bound to occur if it does not remedy itself.

"Absolute Trash"

Absolute Trash. If I could leave no stars I would. Waited two hours to talk to someone. Then got a phone call at 4:43 pm saying my doctor was ready. Just needed to accept the video in the next two minutes. I accept the video and it says I missed it the expected consultation was at 4:27 pm. Then I get an automated call saying I missed the appointment and if I want to be seen I have to wait again over 60 minutes. I better not be charged. I've used this system multiple times because it's what is provided through my insurance and I've never had good experience.

"Terrible Service"

Terrible. I have scheduled twice and both have been no shows. First time, I waited 45 minutes and the service disconnected; doctor never showed. Next day, had an appointment scheduled and at the time of the appointment, I received an email canceling the appointment. Don't bother.

"Setup an urgent care call because my…"

Setup an urgent care call because my closest urgent care isn’t open for a few hours and my 3month olds doctor is booking 3-6 months out and said zero chance for a sick visit. 10 min wait , hour plus and 4 auto calls and 3 calls to agents later still no eta. First agent answered when I said hello hung up, second had bad call quality (Dialpad, Zendesk talk these are issues I get it I work with a call center). Third agent, well we are busy, no we don’t track call volumes or numbers waiting in a queue… oh you work at a call center. No I just can’t share that info or estimate times for you… why lie about having queues? Seriously poorly trained phone agents and a severely understaffed medical staff. At this point I’ll just take the hour drive to the hospital since Cigna and these Telehealth folks might get back to me on the return trip. What a waste of time and resources.

"They’ll just tell you to see a real doctor. Long waits too."

MDLive is provided by my insurer as a free option.. it seems like a scam because none of their doctors will prescribe any medication to me, preferring to refer me to a specialist. They can’t seem to do anything other than turn you to someone else and say they don’t feel right making a prescription without examining you. What’s the point of telemedicine if I just speak to a telemedicine doctor who says I’d have to see a doctor in-person for everything. Also, the wait times are super long and customer service is rude.

"TERRIBLE service"

TERRIBLE service! I went for mental health services for anxiety and the super un-empathetic “therapist” is that’s what she wants to call herself Michelle Coleman was awful and SUPER judgmental. I can’t believe anyone allowed her to be a therapist. She didn’t even make eye contact and started asking intrusive questions on my FiRST visit. Like what type of medication a previous physiatrist prescribed and what the dose was. It seems like they all have another agenda just to get money and not actually help people. I only tried this service because I was in a bind and traveling and I know if I was to continue I’d end up needing more Therapy just from dealing with that beotch. I would not recommend for anyone with trauma or childhood issues they are cold hearted and judgmental the exact things you DONT need from a therapist. Screw you and your judgmental small mind Michelle Coleman.
