"Zero stars - do not ever recommend"

Doesn’t even deserve 1 star. I LITERALLY WAITED OVER 8 HOURS OVERNIGHT TOTAL FOR NOTHING TO BE DONE!!!!!! I got charged multiple times without service. This “company” needs shut down! I requested the visit at 8:30 PM and finally spoke to a doctor at 4:45 AM. This was after I had to call multiple times, set up an account for my child multiple times- even though each agent assured everything was in order. Only to be told that nothing could be done but if anything changes to go to a clinic. Well no sh!t sherlock. Save the frustration and foot an ER bill would be better than this crappy service.
My issue isn’t with the provider himself, I wouldn’t have been seen had he not logged into his work on his own free will early before his shift started. He even said there were others in line waiting.

"Terrible "customer service" system"

Terrible "customer service" system. Screwed up my account, charged my credit card without submitting claims, won't refund the amount, and took 4 hours of my time getting it straightened out.

"Scam on the billing side"

I had no issue using the site. The doctor I consulted with seemed knowledge. The issue is with their billing; I verified my insurance information three times, twice online and once over the phone with customer service. In the end the billed me like a cash patient with no insurance, after talking with customer service after being charged (second time calling them) I feel this was a deliberate action. They offered to let me speak to a manager only to put me on hold for 15 minutes...no one veer picked up.

"MDLIVE refused to help me with a simple request"

I have a sinus infection and I told the physician that I’ve had for a long time. He prescribed an antibiotic and I took it until it ran out and I started to notice it getting better but I need more. I should have be given 10-14 days considering the length of time I’ve had the sinus infection. I called to get the prescription extended and they told me I would need another visit! I explained that it wasn’t my fault the doctor didn’t give me enough and they refused to help me! I was supposed to get a call back but still haven’t. The customer service was horrible! It didn’t used to be this way. I’m going to complain to my benefits department and tell them to do a survey to see if other employees have had issues. Not using mdlive again!!!

"Not the same as it was a few months ago"

Gosh, I dont know what happened. I had acceptable service back in January, twice actually, for COVID. I have not used the service since but called them today for a terrible headache. First doctor said accepted but then apparently deleted my appt or something because it disappeared. She didnt call in 20 mins so I looked online and she put it was missed. My phone never rang. Anyway, so I go through process again of setting appt for first available. This time I'm accepted and doc calls. Consult felt a little condescending. Told really to just take Tylenol and/or ibuprofen which I stressed I had. I know migraine meds exist as I took them a few years ago. Finally he said he would prescribe some. It's hours later and the meds are still not at pharmacy and I'm still in pain. :( Visits back in January the meds were sent over right after consult.

"Avoid at all costs"

I would avoid and stay away from this service at all costs. The providers on the site are horribly incompetent and uncaring. It’s truly scary that such a site has been authorized. Such a site is very dangerous and harmful to any and all patients using it, who will receive extremely poor care from the providers and completely inaccurate and dangerous information from unqualified non professionals.

"Terrible customer service, multiple errors"

MDLIVE recorded information for my insurance incorrectly (multiple mistakes - wrong spelling and the wrong insurance, they just picked the older insurance that was showing in their database instead of using the one I gave them), and after the claim was rejected, they told me it's my (!!!) responsibility to take care of that, to resubmit the claim to the correct insurance. Just to make it clear - THEY made the mistake, but it should be me, who now has to deal with the claims, they refused to resubmit the claim with the correct insurance I gave them in the very beginning. And even to get to this point I've had to spend two hours on the phone with them together with the representative of Blue Cross Blue Shield, who said she never saw anything like that before. One after another representative - it seems they don't know what they are doing. I've requested to talk to the supervisor, they said they have none available (in the middle of the work day, really?) They hung up on us 3 (!!!) times.

"Waste of time and money"

Grace Mbonde, MD spent two minutes with me. Told me to get a Covid test despite already having a negative one last week. Told me to not work this week and then abruptly ended the call.

The consultation notes I got were about a child with a sore throat. I am a 51-year-old woman. What a sham and waste of time and money. I have not experienced this with MD live before.

I called customer service to request a refund and report this and they told me they had to have another customer service rep call me back. I’m done with MD live. I should have gone to the local minute clinic or waited out my illness.
