"Doctor MIA Multiple Times"
Scheduled a wellness screening, got my lab test done, 2 hours before my screening appointment my doctor cancels, they make me reschedule with the same doctor two weeks later and she doesn’t show up to the appointment this time. I call the hotline, all they did was tell me they’d escalate which literally translated to they’re going to do nothing. So now I’m stuck and can’t reschedule and don’t know what’s going on with my health because the doctor can’t show up for her appointments and they won’t let me schedule with another doctor.

"SCAM!! Please do not use this company"
They scheduled an appointment and when my provider did not show up they charged ME. When I tried chatting with customer service to resolve this I kept getting kicked off their site.
Finally the chat agent tells me after chatting for over 30 minutes that I need to call their hotline for assistance.
So I tried calling and have been on hold and no one is available to talk

"Waste of copay. I should have gone to urgent care."
So annoyed. My second time with MDLive. Gave them a second chance after first chance wasn’t great.
First time, they prescribed a med my pharmacy couldn’t fill. Pharmacy and I reached out with no call back. I never got the med through them.
Second time. I’ve been coughing for 4 days. Got on a call and they basically told me to take over the counter meds that I’ve been taking but are not working. But they didn’t listen. Told me to call back if this didn’t work. So great, I’d be out 2 copay’s instead of giving a prescription cough med.

"MDLive paid twice, dragging feet on refund"
I have a billing issue that has been going on for over a month. My insurance covers MDLIVE at 100%, but when I logged onto the website it still showed $44. I spoke to both Blue cross and MDLIVE for 2 weeks and many hours, delaying my care in the process. Nobody could fix it or knew what to do.
Finally I was told by MDLIVE (Janette on 10/27) to just go through with it and I should get my refund once my insurance pays. (Also Sierra on 11/4 said the same thing later). I did the visit on 10/27/2022.
The insurance has paid yet I have not gotten my money back. I talked to Macey today who put in a refund request but said it could take up to 45 days. It seems like MDLIVE is doing everything possible to keep my money as long as possible.
It shouldn't take this long, I shouldnt have been charged to begin with.
Meanwhile the price still hasn't been fixed and shows $44 if I go to do another visit.
Please refund me. I have wasted so much time on the phone trying to get this resolved. It should be simple.
edit: Finally, after a month and a half of talking to MDLIVE and my insurance on the phone for what I estimate is 10+ hours, I finally got my refund. It still shows $44 on their website and still hasn't been fixed. I kept thinking I should have done a chargeback instead of spending so much time, but I opted to give them more time.

"Discrimination? No accountability?"
In the past, last year, although seldom, I saw a doctor whenever I scheduled, no problem until the last one. He was into shaming me and I told him how I felt. No apology or hint of humanity. The next time I scheduled for a doctor, I received a message that the doctor would be late. While waiting, I received a phone call saying, "sorry, blah, blah...the doctor will be with you ... and then inserted "as soon as possible". The webpage repeatedly said "wait time, 10 minutes". I called MD Live, mid morning and was told, "there is only one doctor today". For the whole service area? I tried again the next day, a few weeks later, months after that and always the same, "the doctor is late", and again when I called, "only one doctor showed up today". I began recording my screen and the automatic calls. As a health care professional, I believe my account was 'flagged' because of that doctor, with something like, "do not schedule". It happened again yesterday. It would be both retaliatory, and discriminatory because of the condition for which I was shamed. Regardless of when, before or after the incident, customer service for the most part has been unhelpful and untrained. I have tried asking for the supervisor and was told at different times, "they are in a meeting, there isn't one today, we don't have any and I'll take your information", or anything they want to say. While there are mostly good reviews, I notice they refer to simple and straight-forward interactions. And my guess, many are cash paying customers they don't want to lose. Regardless, this is healthcare and there shouldn't be as many negative reviews as there are, something like 40 + pages of 1 star, 7% of reviewers. I take them more seriously, it's my health. Even if you have a simple medical issue, I'm no longer certain that MD Live will treat you respectfully and professionally if you even hint at questioning the doctor. My healthcare insurance carrier is investigating what I am saying. Having called the state's medical licensing board, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and other regulatory bodies locally and nationally, I hope they are as well. I certainly will not send anything to the email address MD Live answers these reviews with. Giving them them more data only invites further discrimination. There you go, my 30 years of healthcare professional 'two cents'.
Edit: That's it, a stamped reply, "We are committed to patient satisfaction and would like to improve your experience" along with a standard generic email address: letushelpyou @ mdlive.com? If you had any inclination to help, you would be transparent and accountable, provide me with a number to a real person, or call me. I don't do resolution by email. Apology not accepted. Just pouring salt into the wound, no pun intended.

"Leslie Ann Williams is the worst doctor…"
Leslie Ann Williams is the worst doctor they have. She got an attitude that I didn't remember what antibiotic I was given a year ago and when I tried to explain to her it was so long ago I didn't remember she hung up on me

"Waited over 1:45"
Waited over 3 hrs. Schedule a doc. Apt. Doc. Didn’t show up to work. No one called to let me know my schedule had been canceled!

"So easy a caveman can do it."
First let me start by saying I am not nor have I ever been a fan of going to the doctor. You have to get dressed, and take your sickly self to the doctors office, while worrying about spreading your germs or getting someone else's. This was by far the easiest doctor visit I have ever had. The doctor was polite, understanding and got right to the heart of the matter. I would give 10 stars if I could. I will be using their services again, and again.

"Easy and Convenient to use"
The service was extremely easy and convenient to use. To help the provider, I took pictures and provided the important health history. Within 30-minutes I received a call-back, confirmation of diagnosis and prescription. Without this service I would have needed to delay treatment for several days until I had a day off work.

"MDLIVE Does Not Prescribe Antivirals for COVID"
I have used MDlive twice now. Both times it was a waste of time and money. They do not prescribe antivirals for COVID. This was not clear in the information they have you read. It says "if you have kidney or liver disease, we cannot prescribe antivirals." It does not say we will not prescribe them at all. Anyway, both doctors very courteous that I talked to, just rather useless.
