"Great when selling. Abysmal back up!"
The lack of service referred to by so many customers is apparently a sad fact by this company.
Having spent over £5,000 on a pair of beds, one would correct a modicum of service.
In August last year we reported a problem of a large drop in pressures in the beds overnight. We were promised someone would come out.
They did. In around late January/early February. 5-months later?
The pump was replaced, and at the same time we pointed out that the left bed was sloping down towards the middle. The technician promised he would report it.
We had heard nothing, so called in a couple of weeks later to enquire what was happening, and mention the beds were still going soft. There was NO record of the slope being reported. Someone would come out...?
A technician did eventually arrive, and replaced the piping between the pump and the Mattresses. He had no record of the slope defect, but inspected it, agreed the problem, and took photos. He would report it.
Heard nothing. Yet again.
Reported it online on their web page. Then got a phone call early in April responding, saying that a "senior technician" would be contacting us to come out. A month later we have heard nothing, have 2 beds losing pressure every night as much as 50 points, and a slipping to the centre of the one bed deteriorating more and more, resulting in rolling down into the gap between the two beds all the time. Not the most comfortable!
Still no appearance by the promised senior technician!

"Make sure you purchase a bed with a light up display and a long lead on remote"
Beds are amazing but disappointed in the remote, really short lead, keeps falling off the bed and display doesn't light up, l have really bad eyesight and l can't see what programme it's on, then when l want to adjust it l can't because it's fallen on the floor

Outstanding issues of post purchase service
I wrote 11 April: -Our order was delivered and new Sleep ID V2 mattresses installed on 4 April by Simon and Mark.
You will have had a report from them by now to inform of an unfortunate event.
In order to facilitate the connection of the air pump, the lower riser was raised to its maximum position. An action that we had never taken since purchasing the beds in 2003. The tail boards were then removed. We quite understand the need for this.
However, after installation, the lower riser on the left-hand bed (viewed from the headboard end) would not return to the horizontal position. By experimenting, and ringing a work colleague, your installer found that by waiting an interval after the restriction occurred, the hand control would again lower the riser a small distance, only for it to jam again. By repeated operation of this procedure the bed was eventually put back to a horizontal position.
We have not used the lower riser control since.
The answer 12 April was: As a goodwill gesture, we will be proceeding with an engineer visit free of charge. Our service team will be in touch in due course with a time and date for the visit. We await further contact.
I further wrote on 16 April: I am less happy to see that you do not mention taking responsibility for the fault of a bottom riser failing to return to the horizontal after you fitter raised it it to a maximum level. A level to which we have never taken it.
Unfortunately, we have a further problem with the new air beds.
The left hand bed loses air pressure very quickly. Overnight last night it went down from its 70 memory setting to 20 The right hand bed from 70 to 50. We pumped them back to 70 this morning, I have just checked and they have lost exactly the same pressure as they lost overnight.
A similar loss of pressure was noticed after two days use from the 4 April installation. We thought and hoped that the system would stabilize. However it has continued to have about the same loss of pressure. We are disappointed, since we feel sure such a loss should not be expected. Please advise.
27 April I have had no response or advice. The men who set up my beds with the new mattresses gave instruction on use of hand controllers. However, we do not have any published instruction information on operation.
Since writing the above review to Adjustamatic earlier today, I have already had a response saying an engineer will call.
