Nice hotel with very pleasant and helpful staff

"In general it was a pleasant stay"

In general it was a pleasant stay. The rooms are clean and spacious. The windows can be opened, which is great. The duvets (bed covers) though are large and very thick. I asked twice at the reception to change them into thinner ones but nothing happened. The breakfast is OK.

"Great location, welcoming staff "

Great location for central, it’s a shame the tram was out of service because that would have been so handy! Hotel room was lovely and spacious and a nice shower too. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The only negative was the cleaning, the cleaner made our bed and refreshed towels but did not remove rubbish from the room, we ordered takeaway and the boxes stayed there the entire duration of our stay. Hotel was great and exactly what we needed for our stay in Amsterdam!

A great location for Museumplein and the Vondelpark, close to trams, and good walking and exploring; decent sized rooms, very comfy beds, very clean, helpful staff. One wall of each room is part of a van Gogh painting, which is a nice touch.

"Our relaxing Amsterdam staycation"

Thank you to your wonderful staff for helping us enjoy our 4 night staycation at XO Westpark. On arrival late in the evening we were met with smiley happy staff who made us feel very welcome. This experience continued throughout our stay and any requests were dealt with in a friendly, efficient and professional manner. The room was very comfortable and spacious enough for 3 people sharing.

La chambre était propre à notre arrivée , de taille très satisfaisante pour 4 personnes
L’hôtel est calme et bien situé ( arrêt de bus à quelques minutes à pied )

We reserved a room of 4 and paid for a bigger room, on our arrival we were given a smaller room when we complained to the front desk the answer was we cannot do anything you can complain and write a bad review if you don’t like it! They suggested to change our room the next day but they will not reimburse us for the difference of what we paid so we decided to stay in the same room.
Housekeeping:
The kids woke up and when they were playing with there cars on the floor under the bed a bag of candy open and dirty socks from the other guest before us and on the side of the bed a cup of coffee with cigarettes inside it ! That would definitely tell you no cleaning has been done. Called to ask for someone to take out the disgusting stuff the same guy who spoke to us the night before told us he cannot do anything until 9am when housekeeping arrives ! ( 4 stars hotel )
I went downstairs to tell them to clean the room and it’s disgusting his answer was I can give you free breakfast ! Well I was not looking for that! I refused it and asked to clean the room as they are supposed too.
Last night of our stay we came back the room was not done they only fixed the beds no vacuum no bathroom cleaning nothing.
