"Great bikes, poor customer service "
Purchased an e-bike from this company. Paid for the boxed delivery service. Bike arrived pre-assembleed with only the pedals detached. This was odd as I hadn't paid extra for the built delivery. Accessories box was unsealed and missing all the tools, reflectors, and the bikes manual.
I contacted customer service who initially told me to source my own tools. When I clarified the bike should've come with the tools, reflectors, and the manual, they reluctantly agreed to send them in the post.
Well a package arrived today with a wrench, Alan key, and reflectors but I'm still missing my manual, triangle wheel remover tool, and chain lube. All these tools should come as standard as shown by the EBS assembly video.
Really poor experience given I've spent £2k on a bike.

"Battersea branch saved me from an awful first ebike experience! "
I purchased my first ebike through my work salary sacrifice scheme (VIVUP). Alex the manager of the Harrogate branch was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I felt the bike had been rushed through its set up and a few issues arose from the very first ride. Thankfully the head office and battersea branch managed to resolve this for me replacing likely damaged/faulty components grátis although a bit of a wait for parts to arrive. They updated me during a number of phone calls and wet every accommodating as I had to reschedule my initial drop off due to work commitments. They were friendly, knowledgeable and seemed to care about my experience. A true testament to a company is how they handle unexpected issues and in this respect Emma, Sheng and their Battersea branch and main customer service helped me resolve a rather unpleasant first ebike experience and if sorted moving forwards I'm sure they will have earned a loyal customer (who tends to spend too much on biking according to their other half!). Only thing I'd say is Battersea branch is a pig of a drive from Kent but the parking in nearby Simpson street was easy to find a spot in and close enough to load and unload a large ebike!

Reserved a bike from shop was given an eta for delivery, received week earlier than expected, hand over in store was excellent, all my immediate questions answered. Had a minor issue with bike and after some investigation was asked to brink bike back to the store were Chris and Rob came up with a solution and I was on my way. Bike is superb and service by Cardiff is up there also

I ordered an Ebike from these guys on a weekend and it arrived a few days later. I was expecting to be waiting weeks and I'm absolutely buzzing to have my first ever brand new bike. The price is also worth a mention. It was so cheap that I was half wondering if I was being scammed or something. Super happy with my bike, it was well packed and easy to assemble. Thanks to TEBS for the amazing customer service, speedy delievery and epic price!

"Beware of safety from bad work "
After a service they did not put brakes back together properly causing screeching and rubbing when pull front brakes.
They lost my manual after service and than the woman Emma tried to charge me for a charger that was covered by a warranty and I know this because she said she would check warranty but still tried charge me. Apparently instead of offering to refund money for failed work or refund money for repair being done elsewhere emma will start an arguement and tell you you not welcome.
If you want a good shop for service in battersea or get your ebike sent and assembled than send to Clapham cycle as they will actually fix your bike and not cause issue and lie to you about money.
If I buy another electric bike I defo will not use them again they are a complete disgrace to the cycling buisness.
This was one of many issues so avoid avoid avoid as very overpriced as well

I recently bought an electric bike from The Electric Bike Shop and couldn't be happier with my purchase. The team was knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful throughout. Communication from the start of the order was excellent, even receiving a follow-up call after delivery. Although there was a minor issue with the mudguards during transit, their customer service was exceptional in resolving it swiftly. The bike was ready for collection in three weeks, and the handover was thorough. I've been thoroughly enjoying my new e-bike and would definitely recommend this shop to others. Overall, a great experience and a fantastic bike!
