We went to look at electric bikes as we had absolutely no idea about them, we were shown all the different bikes and given a detailed description on each bike, we decided on which bikes we liked and ordered 2, we were kept informed as to when they were due in, Vince called every 2 weeks with an update of when they would be delivered, they arrived early and we ordered the mudguards, stand, and rear rack, when we went to pick them up, we were given a detailed handover, the seats were adjusted to our individual height, the guys in the shop made sure we were happy with everything before we left the shop, and we have received excellent service ever since, I would recommend the Stroud shop to anyone, they’re great thanks again to Vince, Ethan, and John

Bought a Cube Hybrid Touring at the Electric Bike Shop in Stroud. The team, Vince (manager) and his colleagues Ethan and John were professional, friendly, highly knowledgeable and went out of their way to source a bike, given supply chain problems. They are approachable, have a sense of humour, and provide a really good service. i'd happily recommend them to anyone wanting an ebike. Even if you don't live in Stroud.

Thank you! Vince, John and Ethan couldn't have been more helpful at the Stroud branch. After testing a range of ebikes I settled on a Cube Hybrid Touring bike. Orders were unavoidably held up with supply chain issues however communication was excellent throughout - keeping me fully informed on progress along the way. The team patiently talked me through all the intricacies of a different biking experience, and have been very happy to assist with aftercare since. I'd highly recommend to anyone talking this exciting new step into ebike territory!

I drove 50 miles to visit the Uckfield store as I had been recommended by a friend. Was just going to take a look and see what was on offer but I was so impressed with the service that I bought a bike for my wife on the day.

We have just purchased 2 electric bikes from the Whiteladies store in Bristol. From our first contact up to and including collection of our bikes (which came early😁) we have been impressed by the professionalism of the staff. They are friendly and enthusiastic with a good knowledge base. It made the whole experience a pleasure.

"Beware! If you use a bike to work scheme."

The Bristol Branch agreed to sell me a Cube Bike through the Bike to Work Scheme. They got a £500 deposit which I agreed to pay.

When I presented them the voucher, they asked me to sign it stating that "I got the bike"

But in reality, they are not giving me the bike until they clear the funds from the Bike to Work Scheme!

Basically, they ask me to wait indefinitely until they get their money from the bike to work scheme.

Why this should be my problem and how can I be sure that they got the funds or not on time.

Do you want me to chase Bike to Work for the funds as well?

Also, they are charging a 10% fee on every bike scheme purchase without taking any responsibility.

Not to mention that I already spoke with 4 different people in the branch including the branch manager over the last 7 days to speed up the process and release of the bike. (After 7 days they finally locate my voucher which was sent through email as per their instructions... So not very promising when it comes to chasing the scheme company for payments)

Nobody informed about this process whilst selling me the bike and taking the deposit.

If I knew that there would be a indefinite waiting period until they "receive2 the money, I would never go into this deal with them.

You cannot reflect your business problems to your customers. This is not a right approach.

Bought a Raleigh Motus GT from the Wilmslow branch at the weekend. Arranged everything online and travelled down from Scotland to collect the bike. Everything went very smoothly, the bike was well set up and the free accessories were good quality. Staff were very helpful and communication was spot on throughout the process. Thanks guys!

"I should have heeded the reviews"

I bought a returned Cube Kathmandu Hybrid Pro 625 from the Bristol store, not a cheap bike even when discounted. I was told it would be fully serviced and checked over and ready in 7 days. There was some protective tape on the rear pannier that had become scuffed so I asked them to remove it and clean it up. In subsequent phone calls and emails I asked for the battery to be fully charged so I could ride it home and provide a diagnostics report so that I could see the condition of the battery and how the motor had been used. They said that would be noted on the worksheet and the bike would 'look like new' when I picked it up.

The following Friday I went to pick the bike up and it was exactly the same as when I left it the week before. It clearly hadn't been touched. All I got was a shrug of the shoulders and claim that he knew nothing about it. I asked to see the manager and was told he wasn't in that morning. I was not pleased and my level of trust had dropped to zero. They said if I could go and have a coffee for an hour they would charge the battery enough to get me home and clean up the tape. On my return the tape had been removed, obviously with a sharp implement because there were two gouges out of the paint right down to the metal. I was told they were already there when I inspected the bike which was not true. They were clearly fresh as the exposed metal was shiny.

In the end they offered a brand new one with a discount. My wife also wants a Kathmandu but it won't be coming from this company.
