"Misleading photo of product on website…"
Misleading photo of product on website - ended up ordering colour in picture but receiving a different colour parasol (not to our taste at all). Rang up to try and change, but poor customer service experience and we would have to send the item back at our expense.. guessing that won’t be cheap for a large garden parasol!
I will stick with John Lewis in future (shame the item was out of stock there - was cheaper at John Lewis as well!)

Sadly cannot give it less than one star or I would. Website states 7 - 14 days delivery. Actual delivery is nearly 6 months but took useless customer services two weeks to answer my email and let me know. Customer advisors desperately need more training. Citing COVID 19 as an excuse works for delivery but not for misleading information on the website and poorly trained staff. Let’s see how long it takes to get my deposit back. Thankfully I am
able to contact the manufacturer of the item I ordered and get another supplier, interesting that the manufacturer states delivery is indeed around two weeks.

I have used this company on a number of occasions now for both stocked and preorder items. They are extremely fast in communicating with you, efficient in processing your order and just about have access to anything you could want. Their store is the cutest place ever and worth a visit. Well done Dawsons for remaining to be effective and efficient through the coronavirus pandemic when other establishments haven’t. A+

"The worst shopping experience I ever had"
I did not get what I have purchased and I lost the money as well.
I bought a KitchenAid mixer from this company through 3rd party platform eBay. On eBay they had really good reviews with almost full stars. But, I wished I had seen the Truspilot before I purchased at their shop, now I believe those reviewed are tailored.
Long story short, the courier they used put the package in an unsafe place without gave me notice. When I realised the item has been delivered, the item had gone someone took it, and of course it was an obvious big box KitchenAid mixer.
I contacted this company to raise the issue about my missing item. They said because of current covid situation the item did not need to be signed and the courier had taken the picture where they put the item. And in the end this company ask me to ask for a refund to eBay, they already knew they would win the case because they had the proof of delivery, which was the picture of the item put in the unsafe place.
In the end I lost the case, eBay did not give me a refund because this company had the proof of delivery.
And I emailed this company once again how I should proceed as they were the one who suggested the claim to eBay.
And this is their exact response:
"The item is bought through Ebay which is a 3rd party selling forum and has its own set of rules and regulations applicable on buyer and seller. It is not a question of our moral values as the item is bought through Ebay/3rd party selling forum. Most of the time it is always the seller who is penalized with heavy costs and we cannot do anything about it because we have agreed to the terms and conditions set by Ebay."
So what I get from this reply is: "usually we are penalized by eBay, but let this time the buyer be"
So please avoid buying from this company both directly or from eBay.
They do not care about the customers. I have learned it the hard way.

Excellent company, bought several items from them, garden furniture set, BBQ and Kitchen ware. All were delivered very quickly, no problems at all. I thought this was brilliant considering the problems some companies appear to be having with delivery because of the coronavirus problem. Well done Dawsons.

I ordered two sets of Bramblecrest Garden furniture in the Ascot range and received both within 2-3 weeks.
Better prices than I’d seen elsewhere. Would definitely recommend.
The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I had no communication until the day of delivery, but who cares when it’s on its way!

"Absolutely terrible service"
Absolutely terrible service - item arrived damaged, waited 3 weeks for a replacement - none appeared yet despite promises - the worst thing is they take no responsibility - multiple emails and phone calls and then palmed off to suppliers and couriers. Would never buy from them again.

Ordered a ketler patio set and despite 7 to 14 day stated delivery it has taken nearly a full month to get here only to find 2 back cushions missing. Poor communication from dawsons. Even in these challenging times 4 or 5 days just to answer an email is disgusting . Still no reply about missing items. Get a grip Dawsons I'm not spending peanuts here.

"Great BBQ and service, highly recommend."
I purchased a Char-broil stainless steel gas bbq during Covid19. It arrived on a pallet, and taken to my gate by a really friendly guy. It arrived well packaged and on time. I discovered a problem with the free regulator, contacted them by email on Saturday evening, and a replacement was in the post on Sunday. Great work!
