"Never use this company"

**I am editing my review to reflect I have finally heard from the "owner" more than 24 hrs after my car was supposed to be picked up. I have also heard from the carrier. The owner made many excuses and apologized and will refund my deposit but would I please take down my negative review? I told him I will edit my review when I receive my refund. He wants me to remove this review with the assurance he will send a refund. I said show me the money!
The carrier call, seems he is ready to pick up the vehicle and has dispatched a driver, 36 hrs after the original pick up time! I had to repeat to him, multiple times before he got it! it was too late I already made other arrangements
I will never use this company again!

Multiple calls and everytime they tried to charge more money. Made excuses that they were working so hard and only make $50.
When finally a supervisor said they would honor the original quote and after I signed the contract, they never called me back. I called the carrier and their dispatcher said 5pm pick up 24 hours after the requested date. Said he would text me the driver number and info. He did not. And I never heard from the driver, the car was never picked up. This company cost me a delay in my travel and I could have lost my job. Still no word from them about what happened.
DO NOT USE AMERICAN HAUL LLC!!!

Kathie James was awesome. This was my first time having my car shipped and she made it easy for me. As she promised, there were no underlining fees and she found someone for me at the last minute. I stay in a small country town so she really did her diligence to meet my needs. I highly recommend American Auto Haul!

"Liars and cheats. They defraud the customer."

Liars and cheats. Their game is simple. They get your deposit. They agree to a price with you the customer in writing, that they can’t achieve with the transporter. They agree to a higher price with the transporter, higher than you agree to pay, to get them to show up the next day, then they cancel on the transporter after hours. The net effect is the transporter shows up to take your car expecting a higher fee when they deliver it, than you agreed to. The transporter is not aware. You are not aware. After your car reaches the destination, the transporter doesn’t release the car bc they are not receiving the price they agreed to, and you the customer are forced to pay storage fees while the matter is resolved,….which costs a lot more than the actual transport. To make matters worse, the broker blames you the customer, and tries to act like the good guy by “fixing the problem” (they intentionally created) negotiating a price higher than you were willing to pay originally and less than the transporter was willing to accept originally. This dynamic is possible bc the transporter that has real assets (trailers big rigs etc) and doesn’t want bad reviews, and you the customer likely can’t afford the storage costs and $30 bucks a day while it makes its way through the courts. It’s a scam. I’m reporting them to Delaware state. Hopefully i will get their visas pulled and send them back to their country.
