contracted with american haul to ship my car for a price of $230.00 ,gave them deposit of $80.00 as requested rest to be paid in cash at delivery, Morning of pickup they called and told me due to lack of drivers the price would be $370.00 at delivery, Told them this was unacceptable and they needed to honor original price ,after much discussion they lowered it to $300.00 at delivery,I reluctantly agreed because I needed it picked up that day as i was leaving the location the next morning, So it was the old Bait and Switch ,they need to get their act together on their pricing instead of lowballing to get the job,more accurate pricing would do wonders for their reputation, I must say the actual shipper that picked up and delivered the car was very courteous and Professional,wish I could have contacted them directly

All of these companies are virtually the same. They quote you low prices and then hike them up to almost double. Definitely warning everyone to choose a better company. One recommendation is to negotiate with these companies on the initial deposit. I’m certain this is their fee that they take initially and then the rest is the driver’s fee on delivery.
American haul displayed especially low standards in terms of communication and commitment. They delayed my car transport by almost a week and then doubled the price that I need to pay. They also called me profusely till they got their deposit and then were unreachable on two different numbers.
Worst part is that they refused to refund my money on cancellation and then kept saying that I had disputed the charge with my bank. They are liars and will do anything to keep your money without providing any good services. Eventually I had to dispute the charge with my bank as they refused to REFUND me.

I highly recommend American Haul to anyone who wants to ship their property from one location to the other. They very transparent. They will only charge when they actually establish contact with a driver to move your stuff unlike some of the companies who will immediately charge before looking for drivers and will make every delay your fault. Keep it up American Haul

This company attempted to do a bait & switch with me. Beware** after doing my research I decided to go sign a contract for car transport. The day before scheduled pickup I called to confirm they said no problem we will be calling you tomorrow morning with the driver details and pickup time. My scheduled day came and I received a phone call at the end of the day stating they couldn’t find a driver willing to get my car shipped for said agreed on price. A “new” price was given to me that was doubled. We went around in circles with this company. We were told the original price would not be honored, numerous times we asked when we were going to be receiving a phone call about this change and just asking for some honesty on their end. Nothing just excuses. They did not care about not fulfilling their contract and I had to end up changing and losing out on money in order to get my car transported. Good luck trying to book with other companies I couldn’t even do damage control because other drivers wouldn’t transport my car because of what they had done in their system. So beware of this broker. The job won’t get done and they don’t care about honoring any contract you sign.
