"Problem with Hyundai Machine"

I recently had a problem with a Hyundai 4 in 1 Machine.I needed the Polesaw attachment to fell some dangerous tree branches over a public road.Traffic had to be stopped and people had been hired to do this so the Polesaw had to be working and time was of the essence.I contacted Genpower and Sanjana answered me .Sanjana was extremely helpful and and we got the machine running with a temporary repair.Sanjana also agreed to arrange for a new part to be sent to me.Altogether I would give 10 out of 10 to both
Sanjana and Genpower for outstanding customer service.

"Happy with how Solomon dealt with my inquiry "

"When my hyundai 5 in1 multitool…"

When my hyundai 5 in1 multitool developed a problem, I wasn't very hopeful of getting t looked at or repaired,even though gh it was still under warranty, and at first I did have a bit of a problem contacting genpower, however since Craig wiles has been on the case, I must admit he's been really good, arranged for machine to be picked up, and once it was repaired, arranged for it to be dropped off

"Very very poor on many levels"

This review is a follow up to my previous review, as sadly, things have gone from bad to worse with my Hyundai generator and the service I have received from Genpower Ltd
Having purchased a generator from Genpower Ltd in November 2021, we started trading in February 2022 and after just 8 days of use, the generator stopped working. It was sent back to Genpower who replaced it. In the meantime whilst they were arranging this & due the time taken to resolve the matter, we had to spend over £500 on replacement hire generator as we cannot run our business without one
The new one arrived on 10th March 2022 and stopped working on 7th May 2023. Again, it was sent back to Genpower and again we had to hire a replacement @ a cost of £272
In addition to the inconvenience, stress and disruption to our business, the service & communication we received from Genpower was appalling. We had to spend countless hours on the phone trying to get through, we sent many ( and I mean MANY) emails which were not answered. Voice messages were also ignored with no response. It was not until the matter was escalated to the Exec Team that any positive action was taken
I am writing this review on 26th July 2024 and, guess what? Yes, the generator has stopped working again. And again we are having to pay to hire a replacement generator to keep our business going. We have now spent over £900 hiring generators since we purchased our Hyundai generator from Genpower Ltd in Nov 2021
Over the course of the last two and a half years, in an attempt to bypass Genpower and resolve the mechanical issues myself, I have spoken to many, many organisations/farmers/engineers/business owners regarding generators & specifically Hyundai generators - the consistent feedback is considerably less than positive. The challenge is that not only do Hyundai not have any authorised nationwide service centres & all faulty machines have to go back to Genpower in Pembroke to be worked on, there are very few companies that will touch them due to their poor quality, the difficulty in getting parts and the cost of these parts.
The following is actual feedback I received from one of the UK’s leading generator specialists, with over 30 years experience in the industry: ‘Unfortunately we no longer sell, service or repair Hyundai generators due to quality issues.’
I spoke with the owner of another well established family run engineering business in the South West which has been operating generators for many years and he said the self same thing

Wishing I had done so sometime ago, we have now replaced the Hyundai generator with another brand

In terms of Genpower and the quality of Hyundai generators & back up service, my experience is as follows:

Reliability of equipment- Very poor
Communication - Very poor
Customer Service - Very poor
Trust in their brand - Very poor
Likely hood to re-purchase - Nil

Please don’t make the mistake I made and don’t put yourself or your business through the pain, stress, inconvenience & costs we have endured. Go elsewhere for your generator………

"Best customer service "

This is probably the best customer service I have encountered from any company. Craig's help was crucial in providing the parts I needed and the delivery of both response from Craig and the actual parts delivery was incredible.

"It is refreshing to see that there are…"

It is refreshing to see that there are companies who take care of their customers and provide excellent service, Genpower (Hyundai dealer) is one of them.
Their staff Sanjana Sobahah was very efficient and professional in the manner she dealt with my query and resolved the issue in a timely fashion to my satisfaction.

"From my first contact with Poonam…"

From my first contact with Poonam Shanto my experience has been exemplary. She helped me through the process of getting a resolution by immediate action sending a replacement part and communicated very promptly throughout.
What started as a potentially ‘send it back’ option was sorted in just two days. I will consider Genpower first for all my requirements.

"Very Satisfied Customer"

Very good. The support received from Kieran Darragh (Genpower Support) was brilliant. Had trouble with one knob and bolt for lower handle when assembling. He understood our problem and dealt with it promptly. Our initial contact was on Tuesday 23rd July, replacement parts received Friday 26th July. Mowing happily Saturday 27th July. Well done to him and to Genpower.
