"Excellent Service and machine "

Ordered Hyundai 1500E chipper late morning 9 July; item arrived here, 600 miles away, just after 9am on 11 Jul. Put item together on 11 Jul; it's heavy, weighs about 5 cwt and hard work to put together. Has chipped successfully ever since, tackling up to 100mm in diameter. It is a chipper not a mulcher. Battery not charged on arrival so started immediately with pullstart; now starts first time on battery. What a luxury!

"Where do I start?"

Where do I start? Brand new mower developed a fault, spoke to customer services who said it needed to be picked up, tried to arrange a collection the following day as I was away on holiday the day after, this was 11.40am. Was told the cut off was 12pm for next day collection and there wouldn’t be time to arrange. Later that day I found out the cut off was actually 2pm, I would have had plenty of time to arrange. The experienced warranty person lied to me, I was told an internal investigation would be happening because of this.
They eventually picked the mower up where they had it for 2 weeks, was told it was being sent back with no fault found, even though I explained to them that the fault is intermittent where it occurs after roughly 20mins of mowing (a loud clicking noise happens and the engine switches off and the starter recoil doesn’t pull, how could I be making that up?). Seems to me their technical guy didn’t read the notes carefully. They’re looking at it again, no idea when I’ll see the mower.
At the same time this was happening I was trying to repair another Hyundai mower I had as a spare, however their website incorrectly labeled the part as I received an incorrect part. To their credit (hence the 2 stars) they’ve realized this and are sending the correct part out for next day delivery.
It seems to me that some of the staff try their best (Sam and Craig), some don’t.

"Great help and support"

I had to send my machine back for a repair, on its return it worked fine but the second time I went to use it it would not start and petrol was coming out of the exhaust. Craig gave me steps to resolve the issue and I was able to get the machine started.
Great help and support.

"We got there in the end!"

The communication with Genpower throughout was punctual, polite and kept me completely up to date with the situation. Peter Whuartohe was very supportive and endeavoured to resolve issues which occurred due to outside agencies (ie.a delivery company) to ensure I eventually received my package which arrived yesterday 3 August 2024

I recently purchased a Hyundai multi tool, it was a factory refurbished unit.
The tool itself is like brand new, but did have a couple of items that were incorrect.
i contacted Genpower (Craig Wiles) and all credit to them they sorted with new parts in the next post.
An overall simple and pleasurable experience.

"Defective strimmer"

My strimmer stopped working whilst under warranty, I contacted GenPower and they couldn’t be more helpful.
Solomon, who subsequently dealt with the matter, couldn’t have been more helpful.
A replacement was dispatched within 24 hours and Solomon provided updates about delivery etc.
I can recommend GenPower and Solomon highly enough. Excellent customer service.
